Recorded live from Soweto Theatre, Mnqobi Nxumalo gives yet another version of his song featuring one of His backup singers Siyakha Tshayela-Subtitles and translations available.
I do not have the words to describe what this did to me. All I know is that I want to feel it again and again and again. Permenantly on repeat. Thank you for the music ❤️
This is the reason why the devil 👿 is jealous of God's people. They remind him of his past life. He wants these anointed voices to STOP giving glory to Thee Almighty God, Jesus!!
Mnqobi Nxumalo and Siyakha must jest be left alone nje. They are on their own lane. Voice, writing, artistry, anointing and favour just exuding out of them. Now can we not let these gifts in them fail as a people. They need us to support them and be loyal.
imagine if Mnqobi and Siyakha would have a child bazalwane .....the baby's cry would be recorded as an album akukhulunywa kulowo muzi bayacula nje mabekwatile they yell at each other in riffs .....platinum seller right there..... someone stop my imagination its running away with me right now
Not sure if anyone remembers Siyakha auditioning for Idols SA, can't recall which year but was disqualified?? Took me a while to heal from that but so happy she's been doing well. I need her in gospel jazz songs. Her scat singing game is crazy beautiful. What a voice! 🔥🔥🙌 Mnqobi is all sorts of amazing, his voice is laced with the grace of God🤞
U-Siya from her feature on Benjamin Dube's song brought me here. Now here I found worship and decided to stay. Good job well done Mnqobi Nxumalo. May the Lord increase your musical offering to the World in Jesus name.
@Host of Posts Alright... i will check it out later this evening. I hope it's good. I do listen to Mahalia's songs but I must confess that I am very selective. She really has a beautiful voice though, and I am interested to hear more from her.
@Host of Posts ooh yeah and a perfect suggestion, too. "For the Father seeks for such, who will worship Him IN Spirit and IN Truth" John 4:23(b). Listen to the IN part because drawing nearer to the Father in our fallible state is a huge ERROR. We need to be 'IN' something. God's grace gave us not a 'something' but a person of his Own. The Holy Spirit ia that person. So ababazalwana xana becula they are doing a magnificent job - balungiselela (they minister for) thina bamamelayo sibe kuMoya in order to be in communion with the Father. It is important therefore that they, too, are aware of the deep things of God in order to pass the entertainment phase right to part-take to the intangible things of the Most High when they sing. Amen. I also checked on & listened to 'Sovereign God' by Benjamin Dube feauturing Sister Mahalia Buchanan as you suggested and I have been blessed by it. Thank you
@Host of Posts Bless you. Ooh i must apologise for my assumption on my earlier reply. 😄 Indeed, we do have great Gospel music this side of the world. Are you a Sister or a Brother? To your suprise my friends complain sometimes because 70% of my gospel music that I play is American composed and arranged (this goes way back to Mahalia Jackson and Rev Cleveland, right up to contemporal urban gospel). I am not too much into the entertainment part (and the popularity that can be gained from music) but rather the glorification of the Most High. I agree with you when you say worship is not ushered by music, yet music can be instrumental when we draw nearer to the things of God. Remember the time in the Old Testament when people of God were hungry to hear a Word from above? They begged the man of God back then to say something and he said he had nothing to utter [he was a very honest man unlike many these days]. But then he requested for musicians to be brought to him and as soon as they magnified the Great 'I AM' through instruments and sounds, suddenly power was upon hin and he began to prophesy.
@Host of Posts No problem my Sister. You will continue to be refered to as he at first instances... it just comes naturally on social media for many men to reply to folks they don't know as 'he' when there is no pic. I hope you won't get offended by such error and continue to share your faith in all humility and truth. I love your testimony on true worship and how you feel at ease to share these deep things. I no longer open up deep things to people unless they show hunger for God because I have been so dissapointed in the past by folks I regarded as believers but come short in accepting that God can reveal Himself strong and in a deeper way than the usual. In my case the power of God once came upon me while making copies at work (in fact, it happened just as I was leaving that copy machine) the Holy Spirit came upon me. The text of scripture will speak about "being filled with the Holy Ghost." Fortunately know one saw because I wouldd have been laughed at. I then rushed to the restroom and there I honoured the wonder of 'being' in Christ. Praise His name forevermore.
@Love is the Key Beautiful Amen my Sister. It is something we cannot keep within (our testimony of Christ) we have to share the Truth. We do this with caution becuase of some people's lack of faith. They do not believe in the manifistations of God's power through the Holy Spirit as you have mentioned. Often the enemy uses that to pull us down. But we are not of the faith that draws back but rather our faith is that which leads to salvation of souls. 'Praise and Honour to the Lamb of God forevermore.'
Nigerian 🇳🇬 here! Came across his song Honeycomb on Spotify, and I decided to play the whole album for that song before I came across this one. I had to find the meaning of the words, because the rendition was superb. Definitely he must trying to say something powerful, and yes I wasn't disappointed. First time hearing him and I'm glad I did. From the lead vocal, backups, musicians, lyrics, everything is just on point. God bless you immensely! I'm refreshed IJN. I wouldn't be able to sit down still if I was there live, I couldn't even sit still here. ❤
It saddens me that there are no other nationalities in the comments except SA. The world needs to hear this amazing talent. The world needs to experience this worship. I'm from Zimbabwe and no one can touch the South Africans, in my opinion. They have music in their blood. I swear, their DNA goes do re mi fa so!!!
4 years ago this song comforted me during the loss of a close friend. Back here because I saw a picture of us and in turn reminded of this song. I trust in God that He knows all things 🙏🏾 Siyakha has a voice like no other
Powerful ministration❤️😭, I’m a Ghanaian 🇬🇭, but my spirit resonates with the song, worship in deed has no language barrier, hallelujah, Jesus is alive. Thank you Ministers Of God. ❤️🥰God richly bless you all 🙏🏻
What a duo🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💜 I am learning Xhosa(hope I spelled it right) because of Joyous Celebration and Spirit of Praise. God is universal so I feel this song even though I don't understand it, from a Haitian sister 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
