I decided to change my analogue sequencer from a Fenix III to a Koma Komplex. After 11 years with the Fenix, I think it was time to travel new paths.
It's a seriously great sequencer. I'll try and do a series of videos on this. Each showing a sequence with some feature being profiled.

Hi David! Excellent introduction video to this fascinating and powerful sequencer! Makes me want one even more, although I'm almost ready to admit that I "might" have too many sequencers? (I'm a sequencer-holic! 😅)

Cheers John! It's a great sequencer. then again, I'm a sequencer-holic too! But right now I have this and a Cirklon as my main devices and honestly, need to get more out of the Cirklon. So deep. I'm going to focus on really learning it this month.. Cheers David

What a great sequencer. Possibly a bit more direct than the Cirklon. Sounds a bit like that sequencer made by Andreas Bahrdt and used on the Axxess - Novels of the moon record. I guess it is the clock dividing stuff. Thanks.

I think it's a great Cirklon companion. As you say, more direct here, but the Cirklon is just a powerhouse. Not much you can't do with those 2! Cheers 🙂

Powerful sequencer like the Fenix III, but IMHO more direct/intuitive than the Fenix, thanx to a different/clearer layout. Like on the Buchla MARF, the sliders also make a great difference when it comes to interactivity. They take way more space than pots, but way better IMO for the visibility. I like my Fenix III seq cause it goes well with the Fenix 2 and 2d, but for efficiency it seems you definitely made the right choice!

The FIII is amazing, but I've relied on it for over a decade and figured this and a Cirklon would be a new challenge and motivation. Agree re layout on the FIII. Somewhat chaotic!
