Absolutely. See the problem with Bollywood is they want you either to be a ridiculously megacommercial star like srk orrrr boring bleak character actor like rajkumar Rao. They simply don't know how to use some one who is in the middle or who could possibly straddle and do both! Abhishek if used properly can be effective. He doesn't need to be Wolf of Wall Street or Daniel daylewis caliber. Frankly those people get boring too with there drama. Abhishek does AMAZING in quiet scenes that are slow and build tension.
most under-rated and most talented among his generation... people need to look past his last name and see what he has done over the years... YUVA, Guru, Dostana, Bunty aur Babli, Dum Maaro Dum, Khelein gay hum jee jaan say etc etc etc Abhishek for your sake i want players to do well. I am a fan of original italian job so i know you guys can't beat that... still want it to do well for your sake.
