Nice machines. So which one do you think won? Which blade position gave which the advantage? are these perfectly comparable machines? Which machine do you like better and why? I am trying to decide between these two dozers for purchase..... thanks
I’m thinking about buying a dozer in this size class. I want an erops cab. I really can’t afford to mess up. I have many Old Cat dozers. In past, I never liked Komatsu dozers but I’m willing to give it a try. I’m not always hung up on performance specs as I also worry about parts prices, availability, mechanic familiarity, ease of repair, and resell. I am 2 hours central to Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Asheville. Parts are important. Can someone give me an owner operator truthful explanation on which to choose? Deere 650 is ok in performance jut not happy with their parts program at Finn dealer. I do not want LGP. I am in the mountains. I am also fine with a d5g year model and the d39 with the front radiator if cost advantage is evident. Not looking to buy new. I do lots of hourly work. Thanks!
i wish just once the guys wouldnt try to cheat each other with blade lifting and just shove at same hight so we can see a fair match. every vid i see its always the same thing. they try to get under the others blade and get more weight for traction.
komatsu, john deere, and other brands have beaten cat in almost every comparison I have seen. I am sure they are NOT all fixed I think these other machines have an edge because in every category (excavators, loaders, dozers) cat is always underpowered and weigh a little less. I will buy derre, case or komatsu as my next machine. Done seeing cat lose
el del caterpillar es un flipado. que no levante la cuchilla y el komatsu lo saca por la punta. por que no se ponen al contrario? el de caterpillar por encima del komatsu y entonces no podrá levantar.
