In 2023, the 1,200th anniversary of Kaga Ritsukoku, the museum has been reborn from the Koudayama Kofun Group Historical Site Museum to the KAGAKOKUFU Museum. The memories of the 65 burial mounds discovered during the development of residential land are a page that weaves a historical story of the birth of Kaga Kokufu and the Genpei War. The majestic scenery of Mt. Hakusan, the Kakehashi River flowing gently into the Sea of Japan, the fertile granary, and the historical stage where people moved are still spreading out below.
　
Koudayama Kofun Park (Preservation of Kofun City Designated Historic Site)
In the adjacent Kofun Park, Mt. Koudayama No. 1 Mound from the early Kofun period, Tomb No. 9 from the Asuka period, and Mound No. 12 from the relocated and restored Tomb are preserved. From the park, you can overlook Mt. Hakusan and the estimated Kokufu site.
