I have worked on and with them, it's tricky to operate and don't get me started on changing bits that have been corroded into the metal from salt and water rusting them. Dayshift would leave lots of bits and a mess almost every time so it made for lots of maintenance. Beating the bits out with a 6-8 pound sledge was either satisfying when it went smooth or frustrating when corroded, albeit a very good workout. @lordlandbeast
What you may be seeing is called rock dust, a limestone slurry sprayed on the mine walls to reduce coal dust being exposed to the air, helps prevent fine coal dust becoming an explosion hazard.
Salt cant collapse under the pressure so they do not need nothing.. also they will never cut through whole rock but 10m for example then left 5m salt pillar for protection, thats the rule in mining. Room and pillar method, you cant get 100% of any mineral reserve.
This machine is cm 1motor hydrolice induction motor 2cutter motor 3 traction(2) motor 4convieor motor5 scrover motor all motor cooling in water and controling system igbt
Roofbolting comes right behind it a machine has a little metal top above operators head so he dont get nothing fallen on him. Then everything else behind them
Wow! What a machine! So I'm right! I keep hearing this sound. Didn't know where it's coming from. Then I thought! Mining! Way Under my house! 👎 But I can hear it!
@@carholic-sz3qv for example the Maximum cutting height is better. Besides for me Eickhoff has a better service and delivery time. But i need to admit sheare loader SL900 and SL1000 from Eickhoff are way better than the CMs
@@carholic-sz3qv i dont think the world record in russia last year for the SL900 is nonsence. Eickhoff sets standards in the mining technologie and is market leader in automation for mining machines.
