Yeah, the real advantage of power shovels is not their power (even large shovels don't need a lot of power) it is about the large mass they have to push against as they shovel. This is where the idea of a microshovel fails.
@@homomorphic Unless you welded several of them together, bucket to back, creating a short of macro-microshovel that has enough weight, and now length, to effectively get leverage. Kind of a Caterpillar-Centipede
