The Volvo controllers are muuuch more comfortable. All you do, is move your fingers. Look up Volvo L220 or 350 cabs. I'm working with these machines, super comfy to use them. I did use an older WA600, I really didn't like the levers for the boom+bucket, but it was an older model, maybe that's why.
It’s frustrating knowing some companies don’t focus on longevity and ease of maintenance anymore. Especially with cab interiors. Imagine that cab 10 years down the road. Not all companies maintain their equipment properly and then some poor mechanic has to come deal with the issues. Ugh. Heck for example... it doesn’t take much fine dust to stop that locking switch from functioning properly. Yes most new equipment has can filtration but trust me... dust still makes it in. Then you have operators that leave doors and windows open. It’s so simple to go ahead and build a cab interior that is dust and water resistant. But no... that would mean less parts sales in the future. 😡
