Im a Utd fan but Stephen is rude.. Whys he Guttering and Moaning when Vincent is talking about Aguero or Man City etc. We get you support Utd but this is an interview/Podcast. Vincent was highly respectful about Utd and their players so i dont know why hes acting like that
Stephen is just salty and is trying to process the fact that a City legend like Kompany is sounding tactically astute. I say that as a United fan, a lot of our legends and players sound tactically clueless and Howson seems hurt by how easy Kompany describes why Pep's teams always destroyed us during all these years. We have mostly played as a team of individuals since the last couple of seasons under Sir Alex, it was kind of obvious even then.
Steven is salty because Kompany described vividly why United are so far behind City, I'm saying this as a United fan by the way. No talk about "passion, DNA or desire", that's a given at any top club. When you hear some of our legends and players, they sound tactically clueless.
I can’t stand the guy man. He’s so annoying. It’s so true he stands out in this interview so poorly. Blindly in love with United that he doesn’t even have an open view on other teams. And I’m a united fan
As a united fan I'm usually all for Ste's energy but him interrupting Kompany during the Kun segment was a bit childish and annoying. Just let the man speak
Find it difficult to dislike Kompany these days, absolute beast of a defender, captain and rival. Vida is still my favourite defender of all time but he wouldn’t have been who he was without Rio. Miss the good old days
@@osamakheireddine9493 Always came across like a solid bloke as well, which makes it almost impossible to hate him. You'd hear him talk and think to yourself 'if he was my club's captain, he'd be idolised.'
@@specter1019 that's a bit disrespectful, yeah I get his interjections, even though they were jokes, were disrespectful, when it comes to coaching analysis and talking in depth, he is second to none on this channel
Idk Why he was there? When you are interviewing a Legend you need to keep your jokes aside and act like a grown up. Even Rio gave him a look like please behave.
As a City fan I was surprised and delighted to see Rio interviewing Vinny, but this Stephen.H guy absolutely ruined the whole show for me. He was beyond disrespectful and childish. This was my first time watching this platform...maybe last if S.H. is actually a regular.
He said United were better than us (Liverpool) at the start of the season and he also said United can't compete for the league this season, they're too far behind the top 3 but he thinks they can win the Champions League. They're not good enough to win the PL but they're good enough to win the CL?!?! Gift it a rest! I don't know how someone like this still gets his opinions heard. The only reason he's so popular is because he tells United fans exactly what they want to hear because he believe it but he's brainwashing 1000's of there fans with his high expectations and bullshit. He'll just call it "belief" but it goes way beyond that, his head is still in the 2000's.
Was happy to see the back of Kompany because he was so good as a defender and always scored clutch goals for city and against united...But outside the pitch what a guy have heard all the work he does fr the city of manchester and charity. Good luck for the future vinnie.
REALLY loving the content you guys are putting out lately. Listening to kompany calmly explain his view of the game is a treat. Will say though, Ste was acting kinda childish throughout this interview. We get it you're a united fan and sometimes it's fun to joke with rivals but read the room man.
Great interview guys, really good to see Vinnie on here! Got to say, the only thimg I dont like is Ste. Interrupts the guests with benign comments and is so focused on United that he doesnt really contrinute anything useful or interesting. Jusy my thoughts, but I can see others in the comments getting a bit fed up with him
Couldn't tell if Stephen's "I'm gonna be sick" murmur was in response to Kompany talking up City players or if he's struggling. Could hear him wheezing for a lot of the interview.
Legend. Cheers Vinnie, you gave us some amazing times, amazing memories. The passion and the commitment was unrivalled. People say Rio was a Rolls Royce of a CB, but Vinnie was just as much. Silky smooth on the ball.
Will always remember that Leicester goal to win them the title. What a moment and way to wrap up a great career. FIVE have killed it these last 6 months 👏👏👏
There are certain players from rival teams that you just can't hate on even if you hate that they play for your rivals, and VK is that guy so much respect for him. Wish him all the best as a manager hope to see him in premier league one day
As a united fan I was glad to see the back of him, absolutely fantastic player. Great IQ, great leadership and you could literally see city try to adjust to life without him. Someone who wore the armband correctly,we need someone like him at United now.
This was an amazing interview big ups to the crew, what stood out for me is Vincent thinking process, his critical thinking on how football works, really appreciated how he able to summarise and highlight certain key properties of things. As a fellow congolese, alway inspiring to see guys at that level achieving great things, look forward to seeing him achieve more as a manager.
Great to listen / watch Rio and Vinny. Even as a hardcore blue for 60 years I have total respect for Rio and other world class United players of his generation. Two awesome centre backs - in fact I enjoyed this pair so much I'd love to see Vinny and Rio to do regular interviews / podcasts together on the big issues facing the game - ownership, fan connection, racism, the world cup build-up, management, game tactics, captaincy, etc. Both are articulate, were clearly very intelligent footballers in their playing days and much more. Give me lots more of them please - but also have a word with Stephen - banter is fine - but he doesn't need to be rude, talk over guests, etc - made himself look a bit of a tit really.
Quality interview. But this is the time when Steve and Joel need to sit back and let Kompany give his opinion without interruption. It’s not a fan cam channel
Kompany captained our rivals but I can't dislike him, he's humble, respectful, great attitude, was fantastic, 1 of the biggest compliments I can give him tho is I was glad wen he was injured, coz I've never seen a team miss their captain as much as City did, he held that team together and dragged them through so much
Two Legendary Iconic centre backs. So different yet both dominant forces. Great interview. As a city fan Kompany will be the greatest cb of our club. He changed our mentality about defending. When he was there you always had hope that we could keep the opponents at bay. What a guy!
Great conversation. Kompany is clearly an intelligent and very thoughtful bloke, and his attitude is spot on. He has all the ingredients to become an excellent manager. It seems like he has a great gig at Anderlecht where he might have a bit more 'creative license' than most coming into management, and a lot of young players who can be more easily moulded. There's a lot of room there for Kompany in terms of 'progression' as a manager.
I am definitely no Albert Einstein but it's so refreshing to hear Footballers or ex Footballers I should say speak so elegantly.... It drives Me mad when a Footballers being interviewed and in the middle of every sentence they keep going "errrrrrrrrrrrm".... Listening to Kompany and He's really surprised me as I didnt have him as the calm, thoughtful, Intelligent Person He comes across as....
OMG props to Vincent Kompany for saying it, that football is like any other company or job. Is about sharing a vision from top to bottom and group dynamics (min 4:20). However the pressure is much much more since it is highly intensified by the fact that football clubs are under the media lens vs any other job is not. He may feel the pressure once he goes to a big club as a manager
Wow... why am I just discovering this interview? I have just activated a new heightened respect for Vincent Kompany. Always respected him as a player, but he's aces as a bloke. Looking forward to seeing his Burnley team in the premier league
I hope so, he's learnt from 3 great managers in Mancini, Pellegrini and Pep and in Anderlecht we can already see they play progressive football and Kompany is still only young in terms of his development as a coach. Tbf I only want him at City once he's proved himself at somewhere big or done something really exciting in either in a really top league. The last thing I want at City is too see a Frank Lampard scenario.
We would have still been the best club in the world if we had signed Kompany,Aguero and Silva in 2010 instead of City. These guys are absolutely game changing legends. Look at the joke of a club that we have now become. Best club in the world only when it comes to social media and mid table when it comes to football :/
Fantastic interview. Best that I have seen. Vinny is pure class. I hope to see him back in the UK. As a City fan I wish that he could have a few years as assistant to Pep but that cannot happen. Just hope that he comes back to the Premier League. He has the energy and talent. United could use him right now. I would no go Red but I would wish him luck.
I'm glad they spared a moment to talk About Tevez. Too many people have forgotten the prestige of Tevez and now City fans can bask in the glory of all the talent we have but their were so many games that Tevez basically won on his own.
Imagine having Howson anywhere near this. You've got 2 of City and United's best defenders trying to discuss the game and then that fat clueless mess piping up every 2 mins.
Nice to see a City/United video so respectful and with two such talented and intelligent footballers. Great discussion and interesting questions... well done.
Another great interview. Who else to get on? Captain Marvel. Brian Robson. I was 12 when he signed for MUFC. I did not know it then, but in hindsight that was the first step and foundation of what came later. Big Ron lifted MUFC out of the doldrums and then Fergie took it to the next level. Lynch pin of it all was Robbo. He might do it too, because his new biographical film is out.
