Though the company was founded in 1969, it had no logo until 1981. Its logo history is as follows:
-The 1st logo was used from 1981 to 1986 and it consisted of a sans serif text saying "Konami" with the bottom-right stem of the K curved upwards.
-The 2nd logo was used from 1986 to 2003 and it consisted of 2 bacon strips stacked diagonally with the company's name written in a different sans serif font and in italic placed either next to or under it. Starting in 1998, the font was non-italicized.
-The 3rd logo started in 2003 and it consisted of a serif text saying "KONAMI", all in capital letters, like the last logo. In the same year, the company's knife-shaped banner was introduced and the wordmark was rarely used without its banner until 2013.
Trivia: The former trademark jingle started in 1988 and it was used on the company's tapes from the era (See it here: • KONAMI VIDEO LOGO ).
