In my 60+ years of life, I have not met another person who has understood Konark Temple better than you. I belong and to Puri and have seen Konark countless times. You had a fantastic guide. A 12-year-old boy, Dharmapada (the son of Bisu maharara),approached the chief architect and offered to fix the crown stone. Everyone was elated, but there was a fear that if the king came to know that a 12-year-old had fixed an architectural problem, which skilled workers could not, he would anyway kill them. When Dharmapada heard this, he jumped into the Chandrabhaga from the top of the temple. With his suicide, the temple became unholy and the Sun God was never worshipped there. Jay Jagannath 🙏🏻😍🛕🚩

That 12 year old boy who was suicide from konark temple was "dharmapada" or "dharama" son of Bishu Maharana who is the chief architect ... He (dharama) jumped into chandrabhaga river from the top of the temple for every architect's life... So after this incidents sun god was never worshipped again there.... The history of konark and puri is so deep ... I am proud of my Odisha ❤️...
