Again, you are so spot on and you are really helping me to understand the more technical side of the game. Your knowledge of non-Prem players is astounding. Also, a big shoutout to Nunez.... Captain Chaos is back!!!
I want to say first of all, your channel is among my favorites for football analysis, you always bring it with these. And now on to the match, well done for Liverpool and Arne Slot is loving life right now but let us all just temper a bit, I get Liverpool fans are buzzing and you should be but if you watch this game carefully you see that Liverpool are still struggling despite all the winning, they still struggle a bit to break down teams and I think Leipzig could have easily won this one if they weren't careful. This is also another thing, with all this winning and no real spending, what this does is it allows FSG to have excuses to not spend again, they'll say well look at how well we've done and we didn't really splash the cash, this is the kind of complacency that made Liverpool win just the 1 title under Klopp. If they truly want to be elite, they will need to strengthen even if they look as if they are perfect, winning cures everything after all. Pretty good start for Slot he inherited an already really strong side but the defensive side of the game it seems is the thing he's elevated.
@@victorseaton9123 not bitter at all, but we've also seen high flying starts that fizzle out. I think Liverpool are a very good side indeed but there are still moments where things are difficult, breaking down those low blocks etc. If you're a fan and they're your club of course your absolutely buzzing at the minute, and you should be!
She loves her team enough to her rivals by heart. That's how rivals should be. She loves her team enough to know how lacking they are compared to Liverpool
@@RANDYBRITTO didn't you notice how she always use the "hate liverpool" theme, but passionately praise the team content wise?. It's marketing strategy to appeal to a wider fan base.. YNWA, Alice!
You’re brilliant Alice. I too am a Liverpool fan who looks for your post-match commentary every time. Love the respect you get from all the blokes who admire your deep football knowledge, never see any derogatory sexist comments which is so unusual on footie threads. Keep up the great work 👏🏻
You've nailed that about Nunez imo. He's setting up to have a blast this season. He's starting to look a bit more like his hero & mentor, Cavani. Not there yet, but he just might surprise a few people this season. Love your channel btw, you make more sense than quite a few Liverpool 'pundits'.....👍
Many LFC supporters were calm this summer because we knew we had a great squad. Under Klopp we did not sign a good player just because he could play the ball. They needed to be good people too and fit into the group. Klopp had a focus on that and talked a lot about it. We have 7 players in our squad that are captains for their country. Klopp made a group of leaders, Mentallity Monsters they were called. That is in the players, Klopp only made them aware that they had it in them. So does Slot but with so many leaders they don't need no one to remind them. That's how you build a team and a club. I was not worried but our results so far has impressed me and the future looks great Like the way you analyse matches and performances. Petty it is not socially acceptable to change team, seems sometimes you want to 🙂 Keep up the good work 👍👍 Norwegian LFC supporter since 1978
As a Liverpool supporter I always love watching your content, but I have imo one of the best compliments you can give to a content creator, your audio quality and volume is fantastic. I’m not sure if it’s your mic or just your gain settings but it’s great. I listen to so much RU-vid and so often I’m constantly fooling with the volume in the car, but never with you. Well done 🫶🏼
Gulacsi had 3 world class saves and Mac Allister hit the crossbar, on other day, this could have been easy 3-0 win for Liverpool, but we will take 1-0 any day of the week
Alice thanks for best impressive analysis of every Liverpool matches we love you and we know that you are also love Lfc from bottom of your heart! God bless you 🫶
You're always spot on with all your analysis, others with more followers but longer in the field are leagues below you. Keep up the good work, cheers from Perú.
🎶 We’re all sitting on top of the world at the minute. The team no one can stop 🎵 You know what I liked…the stoppage time pass and move. I’ve not seen us kill a game off like that with possession.
Excellent analysis as usual, Alice. I always learn so much about football because of you. I'd like to say that I've noticed that VVD is the anchor and martial of Liverpool's defense. He pretty much stays back while overseeing and providing a solid foundation for Tsimikas/Robertson, Konate, and TAA to do their thing. Most teams tend to not want anything to do with him so they target the other defenders. 😅 I realized yet again just how important VVD is to our team as an iconic defender AND captain. YNWA ❤
For the record Alice, Trent, when questioned on LFCTV, stated that Ibou was both one of if not the fastest in the squad and also the strongest, straight up, it was one of those who knows the players the best videos....YNWA!
Great work Alice. And incredibly fast. The game had hardly finished and there you are with this review. Enjoyed your videos as always as a Liverpool supporter. SK Chew, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Watching the game last night, I felt like we had one eye on the Arsenal game too....the players were playing within themselves for the whole game. I think, for me, MOTM was between Ibou & Gravenberch, both outstanding again. Gravenberch is just a joy to watch with and without the ball. He had one important block in our box last night in cutting out a square ball which likely would have ended up in them scoring. Onwards and upwards and I hope for a stronger performance against the Arsenal on Sunday.
Thing is that the team is clearly still coming to terms with the new style and manager. On top of that it's hard for me to pick out a game this season where the team looked like they were really on form, as a collective. Traditionally in recent years the team gets really up and running later in the season (last season's run in was an abberation). Of course if you only looked at the stats you'd never assume the above were factors. So on that basis, I can't wait to see this team when they really get to grips with the new boss's requirements PLUS when they really start firing as a confident unit. The future looks bright with Orange. Arne of Orange... 😁
Alice I love your videos the headlines your facial expressions, it’s as if you’re teasing yourself and you gracefully accept Man Utd’s position at this moment.
I noticed one thing about this channel. Even though it is created for Alice to talk about EPL teams other than Manyoo (a dedicated channel for that), she never talks about Man City. Not enough fans to make a difference in the viewing numbers, I presume.
3/3 9pts out of a possible 9 in the Champions League as well as 11 in 12 overall. The KEY is consistency even if you are not playing at your best or when you have the officiating team on a full dose of sabotage in their decision-making. Going into the Arsenal game on Sunday, it is good to see Nunez back on the scoresheet. That should ease the self-imposed tension a bit while coming to terms with the gaffer’s style of play. Top-notch analysis there Alice! Keep up the good work 👍💐
Alice it's refreshing to hear a united fan be so unbiased in their analysis of another team. Especially liverpool. I love listening to you. Keep doing you.👌
Alice ... I am Liverpool through and through .. but I love your data based breakdown and ability to put your obvious weakness of being MU to the side ... keep it up !
Hi Alice I think when Konate came in to is own was when VVD was injured and up to that point he had some bad games but he’s looking real good. Keep up the good work on Liverpool
I’m a lifelong Liverpool fan… I was honestly dreading Klopp leaving… Oh my goodness… Arne Slot’s statistics when you explain it Alice… they seem to have a togetherness about them… they don’t seem as erratic… Klopp’s relentless pressing and aggressive high line started getting worked out, teams were playing long aerial crosses and catching us out Things seem calmer, more organised, composed, compact and really difficult to break down… this man is a tactical genius i think
Loving this channel. It's fun to see Goldberg lose his froth, but it's refreshing to hear critique from a rival fan with tremendous knowledge of the game. Newly subbed.
Nunez will cause arsenal problems trust me. Liverpool will beat arsenal on sunday trust me alice. Alice something about liverpool is that the full squad is of world class players and if any player is injured there is a replacement trust me. Arne slot is a genius and always wants liverpool to win and i like his system. much love❤❤❤ alice.
