This weekend, Tyler tackled the multitude of bins and binders and folders of paper stored in various locations of his home (garage, closet, etc). THIS VIDEO IS NOT SPONSORED
I can totally empathize with the look on his face when considering discarding lecture materials... I am going through college journal articles and such right now and having a very hard time!
Great job Tyler! Decluttering is like peeling an onion, one layer at the time! Love to follow the series and see and hear about the progress with the clothes in this video as well!
I 100% agree with old study materials. For over 10 years I kept my text books/notes and not once ever did I refer to them. And I finally chunked them and never looked back. The one thing I do recommend for appliance and home manuals for Current appliances. I recommend for all home owners to make a home binder so that if you do sell the home the binder goes with the home when it sells including paint colors etc. Before I bought my own home I always had clients throw out them out. But my new home has that binder and I’ve referenced it dozens of times.
i know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I was stupid forgot the account password. I appreciate any help you can give me.
@Jagger August Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I too love books and had an impressive amount . I started purging last year to our local library. feels so good. I vow to never buy more books, especially new ones. I do buy from the library store ever so often, no guilt ,I read and donate back! My collectibles I will always keep, and always check the library store for mistaken first edition donations! no luck yet.
Thanks. Papers is the bot that was not explain much in Matie Kondo's series but I need help with. And I totally loved the comment Iwish I had taken notes so I could sort them! Yeh, that would be me as well.
You guys are so cute! I hope you are this happy in real life cause I know some people "highten" their life for YT -no shame to those who do. Also, family binder? What is this?
The family binder is a technique that Abby discovered many years ago, and it is a place to compile all sorts of pertinent family documents (some people call it a grab and go folder), including the children’s birth certificates, copy of the deed to the house, copies of utility statements, etc., etc.
It took us one day, however, we only decluttered his paper. We left the kids’ and the communal household papers alone. Going through an entire household’s worth of papers may take a few weekends, depending on how much you have.
Not about having a mum, more someone that can push me to follow through. 😂 ADHD is a hell of a blockage to me getting things done and Heather helps me work through a lot of the “rabbit holes” that decluttering brings about.
