@@michaelbarker3749if they have a “special “ show every two weeks then you can never have a special. Last week was 250 next week is Blood and Guts, they probably have another “special” before the Wembley show.

Make up your mind, do you want squash matches or big names vs big names? This match builds the story between Max and Will. Will lose because Max cheated. He’s going to want revenge and his title back. This match brought more eyes to the product in hope that they can build the viewership off of that. It was a good idea, now they have the foundation for a good story leading up to All In next month.

I've seen the amount of money being spent on AEW's shows, it blew my mind trying to reconcile how someone could possibly spend 7 figures on a show that is struggling to consistently attract 1 mil viewers in a primetime slot. It's insane how someone could possibly think AEW is a roaring success.

The thumbnail has Ospreay with tights up to his belly button, and then MJF next to him with jeans just barely above his dick trunk. There’s gotta be a middle ground.

Jericho actually doing a heel gimmick that the AEW smart fans will actually boo is genius to me. My favorite part of the show.

This is why the novelty worn off, and no one takes Meltzer and the AEW fans seriously. This match, along with the Ospreay vs Danielson will be forgotten about over time. They just want the "best match" validation, and not bothering with any buildup, story, or feuds.

The July 17th edition of "AEW Dynamite" was hosted from Simmons Bank Arena in Little Rock, AR 2,603 tickets distributed and the arena was set up for 3,249 and 795,000 viewers.

That was over 20 years ago to 4 times the people. Get over it.

You could still get 3rd row ringside for 65$ an hour before the show went on the air. 2603 must count a lot of tickets people bought and couldn’t sell. They only opened the floor seats and the half of the lower bowl that was on camera. The other half of the lower and both upper bowls were tarped off. No way they were set up for 3250 or had anywhere near 2600 in house.

Whaaaaaaaaaaat. The Japanese guy who doesn’t speak English and has never been in a gym in his life is a bust? No way.

If AEW has served any real purpose, it’s been to expose just how bad japanese wrestling truly is. The 50 year olds have terrible matches, the 40 year olds have terrible matches, the 30 year olds have terrible matches. None of them have personality. None of them sell. The entire style revolves around striking and THE STRIKES DON’T EVEN LOOK A LITTLE BIT GOOD. Okada might just be the worst of them all. That Rainmaker is an embarrassingly bad finisher, legit the worst lariat I’ve ever seen. The man isn’t particularly fast, or strong, or charismatic. He doesn’t have a dynamic moveset. The basic moves that he does aren’t even performed well. His dropkick is fantastic. That’s all he has. Everything else he does is mediocre to bad.

@@pearcemark2 I legit don't get the appeal of Okada. I'm glad someone else is saying about his clothesline...hell I could do the rainmaker and have it look just like his. I just don't get it...and I've tried. The hype train for these guys is ridiculous and I very rarely see the payoff.
