You know, when she was Sasha Banks, I remember thinking I was crazy for not seeing this girl as good. I couldn't believe it. But, now I feel vindicated, seeing ol' marble mouth Mone in Aew. Ha.

if Tony Khan was a smart man, he would release her. She's getting paid a fortune but she's actually causing AEW to lose fans and then REALLY cannot afford to lose fans at this point.

I’ve never understood the hype when it comes to Sasha/Mone but I think she nailed it here. This kinda thing (ok maybe not quite as extreme) can hit huge if done correctly, but in the current AEW they will likely do it 10 more times within the next few months

if Tony Khan was smart, have her drop the TBS title to Toni Storm... or just act like nothing happened and solider on.

I love the chaos, I’ve lost hope in helping aew, so at this point I just look at reports or people reviewing and seeing how trash it is. Very entertaining.

Tony is clueless and tone deaf. He thought he was getting the Sasha Banks pre her and Naomi getting big heads because they got a tiny bit of success outside of WWE. This Mercedes Monet made people stand 2 feet away from her at a meet and greet. 3 years ago they would have been filling up arenas for her alone. This is far from the Sasha Banks that drove Jericho insane by kicking the cr*p out of AEW for a month on NXT.

You know that part where Disco is silent for 10 seconds and asks the producer to pull up the story? That could be cut out and it wouldn’t hurt a thing

I haven’t seen any reason to not like Mercedes. Her matches/promos are bad, but at least she’s out there every week working for her million. If anything, she just proves Shelton Benjamin right. She showed up, took a spot, and not a single person has the guts or balls to take it back.

The only Japanese wrestlers AEW should retain are : Mina Shirakawa ,Takeshita and Riho. Thats it . Okada and that Chop master both need to go !

Mone is weird and a bit cringe. The problems are that a. she doesn't have someone that can reign her in, b. there is a segment of the AEW fanbase that actively hates women, and the boss agrees with them, and c. she is an actual star, which will rub one person in particular the wrong way. A person who has hamstrung several other talents to the detriment of the division and the company. Hell, it even ran off one of the company's biggest stars. But, she makes Tony think that she likes him and that has a chance.

This is one of the rare times when mone is 100 percent correct and she's speaking from the WWE handbook with that comment and that's why aew fans are mad but ho's can stay mad all that goofy shit they did and the TV show still hasn't drawn a dime where's Mike Graham when you need him (RIP)

To be fair, though. Everyone's matches in Aew are hard to watch for differing easons. Whether it's drinking blood, putting your hands in your pockets, going in slo motion like Y2J6, fake forearms, no selling, and all the rest. Ha.

I really thought of something when Konnan said its not for tv in this day and age. I assume he meant the mentality of the viewer. But another factor is that bloody violent wrestling is way different when seen from a distance or on an old 240p or 480p tv. Compared to a 1080p or even 4k tv.

When she jumps back to WWE, that’s when we’ll know AEW is in deep shit. For her to conclude she’s milked all she’s going to get and cut her losses, it will mean she knows something is up.

I just dont get the hate though . She is literally better than most of the females on the AEW roster and she has an actual gimmick and a cool taunting dance . Only Toni Storm is better than Mercedes. If the AEW fans hate her that much then keep her as a mega heel 😂. Doesnt matter if its Go-away heat or not. Just keep her there and use her to put someone else over . But truth be told ,Mercedes and Okada are totally overpaid and not worth their reputed pay .
