I believe it’s because he saw the last years of Soviet Union with his own eyes. For us the sole idea of young people calling for communism and praising Marx (most likely without reading his works, unlike anyone who grew up in USSR). When I see 20 yo from LA or NY saying that they are communist, I just really want them to go to rural Russia to see where it leads. And then they can go to Finland, and compare how formerly parts of the same country developed with and without communism. But I’m not sure there will be any conclusions there.

Well, not quite so ironic - I can´t remember the details, but his (great?)grandparents had been through gulags and other Soviet "cultural inventions". I've had dozens of conversations now with the various AI engines ... on subjects I already know something about ... and while entertaining they fail to show any signs of actual intelligence. They can repeat false ideas that have been repeated many times (a simple result of how they are trained) but fail completely to have a single "new" idea. That heckler is actually a really useful addition to this show. It highlights very clearly one of the ways in which we are going wrong. We used to be one of the most respectful societies in the world. Evidently that aspect is greatly diminished. Societal pressure to be polite and refrain from rudeness has greatly declined. A trend we would do well to reverse.
Konstantin is a very articulate man who also has the composure to deal with hecklers. He wants to get to the root of problems so is prepared to say unpopular things, like that knife crime is noy just a problem of young men carry8ng knives, it is, like the housing crisis, in large part a consequence of he breakdown of the nuclear family. I then would have explained what would happen if this behaviour was repeated in clear and simple terms and the consequences of repeated behaviour, removal, by force if necessary. People seem to forget that we live in a society, a pretty good one if you're in the western world, and without boundaries society collapses.
