A thoroughly enjoyable interpretation of that poem. I moved to Australia twenty years ago from the UK and feed a family of Kookaburras daily, yet learned some new facts about them from this. They are daft and noisy in equal measure, but I now see them in a slightly different (melancholic…) light.
