We start off with a paddle on the Kootenay River from Skookumchuck to the Wasa Rest Area in early September. I include a short visit to Kootenay Pass as we were driving by on a sunny day a few weeks later. We finish with another paddle on the Kootenay River, this time from Bummers Flat to Fort Steele on BC Rivers Day.
