You have inspired me to learn how to knit. I am working on a newborn size hat as my first knitting project. My goal is to be able to create my own knit wear.
I love sock knitting! I just read the history of socks. So interesting, in the 1500’s royalty and aristocracy wore fine “silk stockings” crafted on slender metal needles. While commoners wore coarse stockings made from their own hand spun yarns and knit on large needles. 🧶
Hi Princess, Yes. Bought me a ball winder a few weeks ago and.... love it, love it love it. When I got to use my ball winder it's a joy. It's just plain fun to me. And, I'm getting better at winding nice firm balls/cakes. I like to make my cakes so that I can pull from the middle. So each time I use that winder I'm mastering the center pull. I Looooove it. Alright, take now. Nice to see you moving up in your knit making. I knew that would happen. Many Blessings.
This time I was working on my Orbits sweater by unwind knitwear. Wonderful and gorgeous colorwork pattern, size inclusive too (and with an option to make sleeves an inch larger, which we love for a true to size garment.
