well not any more. they are building the huge harbour in the bay next to Korcula town. all the olive groves stone roads are asphalted and hips of new apartments, hotels and other boxes/cubes appeared. it turns slowly into Costa Brava. I hope you come and live there...only then you may know what is really going on.
you took me back in time. Your video brought back to my mind wonderful memories made of discoveries, love and fun with my girlfriend. We were engaged and now we have a family with two children. As soon as this video was finished, we immediately convinced ourselves to book a holiday again where we left our hearts, to show our children those feelings and return to the place where our love stood out: Korcula! It's time put these past two years of pandemic aside, and share with our children too how lovely is this place. Love can evolves, but it's alway good to live those feelings back again ❤️ Thank you guys 🙏 for making this beautiful video. Wish you all the best
If you watch other videos of vlogs by couples, either one or both are obnoxious and the kind of people I could never envision myself wanting to spend time with. The two of you, however, are wonderfully laid back, unassuming people. Thank you for that. You just got one more subscriber. Korcula looks incredible. I can't wait to visit.
I was there when I was 4years old, parents were both born there Sutomicsta& kuklica I was born in Jersey City, but going to the Adriatic with no sand but rock shores keeped me from wanting to go in the waters still is crystal clear!!!
@@slovenianstravel nahh after living in Florida for 15 years especially on the West coast of Florida, Venice Beach is amazing and it's the shark tooth capital of the world!!!
Not a bad video, a little overwhelming music , but I’m guessing you like it. Thumbs up on your great command of the English language. I’m traveling there 2023 and wanted to see a few videos filmed my armature videographers on youtube, yours was fine. Good job!
Hey, thank you for great video! We are goding next week to Korcula. Can you please tell me the name of the beach from video exactly part 17:42? Thanks again 🤞🏻☀️
Hello! I am going to Korcula on augustus 31 with my boyfriend. But I wanted to know what the weather will be like because it is the end of the summer. In what month was your vlog filmed? Because you uploaded it in oktober I thought the vlog might have been made in september. This way I will have an idea of what the weather will be like. ☺️
Hi. We were there around 15th of august. End of august is normally perfect, warm water and the temperatures are normally very pleasant. I wouldn't worry about the weather though. 😉
Greetings from Canada! Love your video. We are coming to Slovenia! and Croatia soon. We plan to travel to Korčula to stay for 10 days: (prefer rock/pebble) beaches, eat, drink.. very relaxed holiday. Where do you recommend on the island for a base? We are considering Smokvica. Hvala!
Thank you. Smokvica is beautiful, but it is inland. I would split it in two parts. Half on the east (near town Korčula) and half in the west (near Vela Luka). Enjoy. ;)
It all depwnds on what you are used to. July and August the water is around 25 degrees . That is perfect for me, for some it is cold. I prefered Hvar to be honest.
You can escape the crowds on Hvar easily. The main town can be busy, but just go out a bit. September should be fine though. Choosing between Korčula and Hvar is hard. :) Have you seen our video from Hvar? Maybe that can help you decide. ;)
@@slovenianstravel thanks for your answer; Yes, I’ve seen your vidéo about Hvar; it seems to me that korcula is more authentic, or do I mistake myself?
HI. Thank you. Yes, but just shortly. You can check out our Dalmatia towns and beaches video. It looked really nice, but normally it is rather crowded. In summer 2020 it was really nice. ;)
@@slovenianstravel I assume it is not crowded because it was straight after covid lockdowns? I'm heading there this August and wonder how it will be, excited though thanks to your video!
@@tsaousim Hey, it was just when the lockdowns lifted, but a summer like that will probably never happen again. But you can find places that aren't crowded even now. Enjoy. ;)
I enjoyed your video about Korcula. However, in parts the music is way to loud in contrast to your speaking voices. I actually had to turn down the volume on my speakers as the sound was way overpowering. The music is good. Try not to let the volume of your background music get too large a contrast from the volume of your narration voices. This from a music teacher and video editor for television productions. Thanks for your hard work (and looks like lots of fun) making your videos.
Lovely island and laid back presentation but short on details. Probably trying to show island in best light but when you mention roads without saying directly what they are like, not helpful. You go to eat but don't say what you ate. I want to hear about details of food. You don't have to rate food. Beaches, you don't say, no sand, lots of rocks. Tell it like it is. All we get are eye rolls.
