I love the video format. Having them in real life is great because learners don’t realize how fast Koreans talk since most learning is done slowly. Plus they also have different pronunciation since Koreans also have dialects. I love how you have the subtitles then at the end reverse the format. In the beginning of the video you still don’t know yet but by the end you can already hear the difference and understand what they’re saying. Keep it up! ❤

I absolutely love these videos. So practical. Can't wait to use what I learned. I'm curious... Why 랑요 after the first 2 items? I would have just said 랑.
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning 4 месяца назад
You can say only '랑' as well. Like 떡볶이 하나랑 순대 하나랑 어묵 하나 주세요. But, while deciding what to order, there were pauses between words, so "요" was added to express politeness. This is optional😁

I have a few questions. 1.어묵 순한 맛으로 하나 주시고요. In this sentence what 순한 means and how does 주시고요 forms ? 2.세 개만 하면 되나 ? In this sentence what 하면 means? 3.저회 계산 좀 해 주세요 . In this sentence 계산 means bill or receipt ?
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning 3 месяца назад
1. 순한 맛 means mild flavor, 주시다(give for honorific)+고(and)+요(polite ending form) 2. 하면 means if I do, exactly 주문하면(if I order) 2. 계산하다 means to pay😊

I love you , Morning, but any question thar starts with “do you want the intestines?” is a line I won’t find myself in. I’m fond of sushi. And as a southerner, I know my way around a deepfried chicken liver, I even ear liver pudding . But “intestines?” Oh boy, that’s something else altogether. I’m grateful you told the lady @no,”😜
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning 4 месяца назад
In Korea, it is customary to eat soondae with other organ meats such as liver and lungs. While some people enjoy it, I don’t like it😁
@tony-ud6xg
@tony-ud6xg 4 месяца назад
@@koreanmorning i don’t know if you realize this, but in English a sundae is a shallow dish of ice cream topped with whipped cream and chocolate, so that was my mental image on hearing “soondae” (they sound identical.) you can imaging my horror at suddenly imagining intestines being plopped onto my ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate “Sundae”😮 i’ve recovered from the shock though, and stil love and value you.kisses and bows of respect. Hi teacher , I have a big question about korean grammar in this sentence. Please spend a little bit of your time explaining what the grammar verb ㄴ + 해 and the meaning of the verb 져 버리다are. Thank you. 외출 준비만 하다 벌써 져 버린 해.
@koreanmorning
@koreanmorning 3 месяца назад
해 means 'sun', 지다 means 'to set' 지다+아/어 버리다=져 버리다(V-아/어 버리다 grammar = Express speaker’s feeling to the completed event/action) 져 버리다 modify 해. So 져 버린 해 means 'The sun that was set'😊

Thank you for teaching me this. "wuaaa" 😂See, I was looking at the letters, if you check it out (4:16), see the G/K is different in Meok, Go and gal/geoyeyo, but I think it's just the font. :O This with g sound in the beginning and k in the ending, is it like a rule, or like a unwritten rule?
