Some of the fun things to do in Seoul 💕 Korea journal entry #2! If you could please help me by: 1. Subscribing if you haven’t already 🥰 2. Smashing the like button on this video 👍 3. Watching the video all the way through👀 4. Following my life on Instagram, too! @mayaleex3 That would mean so much to me!
I’ve been loving your Korea vlogs lately!! It makes me want to visit so badly! The food looks incredible but I don’t think I could do the moving food dish 😅
my friend suggested to go to Seoul together some day and I'm thinking of starting to save up now already so that we can go soon. I'm just so scared of doing stuff wrong or being impolite on accident because I just don't know enough about Korean culture just yet, I am learning hangul for half a year now though
It's sooo crazy how many neighborhoods you traveled to in ONE day!!! I used to live in Korea, and those neighborhoods you visited are crowded and not that close.
It’s great to see both you and Nina together. Your videos are slowly enticing me to travel to Korea. **Just watch Spider-Man no way home. I was still surprised from the spoilers.
@@mayaleex3 you know what I belong to a different culture on earth and in my culture we eat dead animals.... But not living and moving insects.... That was weird for me to watch😂
Thanks for sharing Maya! I look forward to visiting Korea one day and found this video both inspiring and helpful 🇰🇷🫰🏽 have so much fun, looking forward to your next vlog !!
Maya! I hope you’re having an amazing time in Korea! Thank you for sharing your trip with us :) I hope you can make a Korea travel guide when you get back!
Maya I have been your biggest fan since the beginning of your RU-vid journey . I am happy to see you spend quality time with your family in Korea . Hope I get visit Korea soon . Also ,can you do a video on your Bt21 merch .Borahae 💜
This looks like an amazing trip! I would love to go and see Asia one day, but with ticket prices on the rise, (and my extreme dislike of flying) I don't think I'll ever go. It looks like you are having so much fun! I can't wait for the next vid! 💕
So far my biggest culture shock in Korea is the extreme humidity and how singular the cuisine is. Other than that, the subways are really clean and everything is built for convenience.
Wooow! I also wanna go there!!! I see that Nina is also there, did she go there with you and your mom or did you just randomly meet each other?😄💜And do you know any good hotels? I want to go to Korea next Spring, so I would love some recomendations🥰Love your videos🥰
Ahhh I feel like Hongdae is more for young / crowded busy-life vibes and Yongsan seems more settled. Nina is also there and we had a day to hang out together and explore! :)
I really want to visit Korea one time, but my finance state is not good enough, I've watched so many tours, vlogs, videos, about Korea that jusz make me feel bad about myself for not being able to travel to the country that I love more then my own😭🔫
I love that you're taking us with you throughout Korea! It looks so beautiful there! Also, I have a random question for you, how do you balance liking kpop (BTS) while also being a Christian? I'm Christian and I love BTS too, but whenever I bring up BTS/BT21 to my mom I feel like she scolds me and she says that I need to be watchful of the things I expose myself to. I know she doesn't like that I like them or that I listen to kpop. And I agree that as Christians we should be aware of what we expose ourselves to in the world, but I don't personally feel very convicted about liking BTS, and I consider my faith very important to me. I just begin to feel bad when my mom makes comments about me "compromising my faith" or questioning the genuineness of my relationship with God. I want to respect her, but I don't how to balance it (I'm 24 btw). What would you recommend? Do your parents/friends give you a hard time too for liking BTS? Sorry for venting, you're just really good at giving advice.
Hey i am not Maya and i am also not a hugh BTS fan but i do like similar bands that cover drugs, love, seggs etc. in their songs and most important i am Christian too. So my advices personally is : Do you feel like your faith gets influenced by the songs or the bands behaviour? If so i would recommand not to listen to the song. Otherwise if you know what your faith means to you and it is still strong apart from the songs, you can still listen to it. For me i mostly listen to the bands for the rythem/music not so much for the text. If your mom gives you hard time about it, i would recommened to explain to your mom why your faith won't be compromised and if she doesn't accepted, don't talk about this in front of her anymore and find friends to share your love for BTS. You are old enough to decided for yourself what is in line with your believes and what not. It is your faith and not your moms. Hope i could help. I bet Maya is a lot better giving advice😊🥺
@@justagirl19 thank you for the advice! I completely agree with you and I don’t feel like BTS is influencing me in a negative way. Part of the reason why I love them so much is because their lyrics are deep and meaningful. Thank you for the feedback!😊
Thankyou unnie for sharing us 🥰 i loving it ☺️💙 my dream destination is korea nd unnie urs?? n i also want to go korea 🇰🇷💙 nd moarangae from india always 💙
Hi!! It would depend on what you want to experience. Gangnam is a major city and it feels like NYC! Hongdae is a young and popping place with lots of shopping :) I like Yongsan as it’s not as busy but there’s a huge mall there too
