It's funny how it is exactly what I was saying in the last video. It's obvious that the way the game is release and design is doom to fail but they won't change anything to adapt the game to the western audience and market because Korean players would go apeshit on getting the same treatment which would then hurt their bottomline, understand that any version outside the Korean version is bonus pocket change for Smilegate and they would instantly let any of those external version die than let it hurt their income. I'm personnally waiting for the announcement at the next event but I don't expect anything, the game is in the same dire situation as last year and I just prepare to move on. Also, let's be honest, 52k views but how many were bots ? 'cause since the last bot clean up, a few days ago, we lost more than half the population which is truly scary about how rampant and dire the bot situation is and I still see mountains of them where they usually camp.

please add a pity system to all rng systems in the game. elixirs, ability stones, and bracelets all should have a pity system. also add rest of the legendary cards to wandering merchants (this won't help me but helps new players).

Player base is trying to tell SG how the game could improve but in the era of profit over people there’s no way of removing the developers from taking any decisions that isn’t ultimately made to increase shareholders value. Fun isn’t the goal anymore, the gaming industry same as every other sector of the world economies is about extracting £ from consumers even if they have to force them to do so. First they get you hooked up and addicted and then they will make you struggle until you swipe for relief. Greed has won everywhere

I think it’s cope blaming all the issue on ags at the end of the day it’s the system Smilegate developed that are killing the game in the west they develop these system for a culture that embraces pay to win mechanics trying to force those same systems on a culture that goes against it will never work.. Smilegate has never shown interest in making the game fit any other culture besides KR hence why the game dies in every other region besides KR it’s not a publisher issue it’s a core design issue that they are not willing to address.

The cure for this game is: 1)removing the gate to fight bosses 2) removing supports change them to DPS class 3) Make no wipe mech on normal 4)Change Elixir system 5)change the transcendence system 6) Make pity system for a quality upgrade 7)Increase artesian energy per honing 8)remove bots

Thing that made me stop playing it aside from obvious reasons like the honing and etc, is just a simple lack of content. Whenever i hear people say "we getting to much content we can't keep up" it's like yeah you do, but it's all the same is it not? Every single piece of content in Lost Ark is just IN>BOSS>OUT. Like there is ZERO difference if the content, all you do is a couple of the same raids with couple of the same dailies day in and day out, they could fix all the issues lost ark has and it would still have a huge content issue, getting another raid is not new content you just expanding the same ONE content you have that's all.

I've said this so many times to so many ppl, and I often get ignored. The fact that Lost Ark is a Korean mmo is the core reason why the game is failing. Fuck these elitist children and make a good game WITHOUT the ultra-predatory progression systems and you'll win. I don't care how much stuff you've normalized, bad game design is bad game design. OK, enough emotions. Onto practical stuff. Lost Ark essentially needs an entirely separate release and a whole new game to be released globally. Best case scenario for the player, remove most rng from progression in Lost Ark and western players will enjoy it more. When you earn an upgrade, you get that upgrade. Now, I don't expect this to happen. So here's a good alternative. Remove all gold costs from honing and remove pheons entirely. This will save the gold we earn for things like accessories and people will be able to create REAL builds with greater ease. This will solve some gatekeeping because players feel like they are capable of meeting those demands. This will solve rmt (and therefore botting) to a degree because our gold will feel more useful and go further.

I'm not really sure why people keep going over the same issues like they haven't been talked about for the last two years and why they aren't protesting lmao...

Lost Ark would have been such a great game without being p2w. Because its designed to fuck you for not spending money. The Gameplay itself is sooo damn much fun. But the game design and the grind is designed to be exhausting and be skipped with money.

1) end game is a lfg lobby. 2) each rng upgrade system is new and we must learn how to not only complete the raids but play tiring rng mini games like elixirs and transcendence to upgrade gear which is annoying and stupid 3) toxic lobbies/players/gatekeeping…if you miss the first week of a new raid good luck finding a group ever again

Removing bots is probably the most sure fire way of instantly killing the game at this point. Playerbase is far too small to support the oreha needs without bots. I think this is just an objective fact that AGS has realized and is one of the reasons that they do not actually ban all bots as they are detected. Don't get me wrong, the game is likely to die but bots are stemming the bleeding substantially.

DFO also got a lot better when it became self published by Neople instead of Nexon

I doubt the game will last in NA for another year. It already has like 20k, barely any parties and people are elitist af. You can only find sale runs most of the time. Events are dead since there are no players. Unfortunately, good changes should have been made from the start. I just got 1610 and will stop.

even if smile gate is to self publish the game is still doom to die the endgame is focus on the raid and its toxic elitist unless youre a streamer youre not going to make any progress and the raid you are expect to run with 0 mistakes or its instant wipe and thats why i quit the game i play game to have fun not to be an elitist

I respect this KR player. They probably have cared for LA more than these so called "community manager" clown that we have. But again to be honest LA has been really doomed to failed, they are even struggling in the KR market right now if there wont be any drastic changes. The only real action right now as a player is voting with your wallet, i.e stop playing , stop spending and keep complaining till things change. If game does not change, just gladly move on to play other games and don't suck on to both AGS and SG.

Actually, Lost Ark should really close in the West because is clearly a game designed for East/Asia audiences. The game will never fare well in the West due to its intrinsic mechanics, values and goals. Concentrate in the East and leave West in peace. Thanks.

This player raises real issues that are well known (abusive rng / elixirs / bots...) but half of his article is filled with false information from the point of view of the European player that I am. Notably the funny screenshots of the lack of lobby in the different contents, take thaemine for example. At peak time we have around 25-40 lobbies open. So I'm wondering whether this player is doing a typical crybaby to attract attention, or whether the American server is really dead, as he says.
