they might be annoying to you but u can see the smile on the competitors face when they hear them cheering for them. They know when to be silent and when to cheer be happy they have such a positive crowd ^^
@@Tushinho hahaha when i used to play volley in a team people would scream their lungs out for our team and for every player and i really felt like they would hurt their voices . Its really encouraging overall tho
I couldn’t stand how obnoxious the crowd was. So annoying, sounds like they slaughtered animals. I hope those in the crowd see this comment and feel ashamed.
Is Barbelin praying in the background every time Jacquey shoots or encouraging him? I would have thought that would be distracting to have someone mumbling behind you while you're focusing on your shot. On the other hand, the Korean guy was silently thanking God that Jang Mee was on his team. She pretty much thrashed les Francaises & taught the raucous crowd a lesson in composure & dignity.
Here is a sport where I dont think being male or female really matters... I wonder what the difference is between the women and men in terms of scoring difference... I think women can shoot just as good as men...
If you look on online leaderboards the top man is only slightly above the top woman - about 10 points which is not much difference at all. And the rest of them are pretty similar , many women even beating their counterparts
It was an interesting comment. I wonder if it has to do with the psychology of shooting male + female. It seems the guy takes the most pressure in shooting first & coping with the crowd noise. In this case the Korean woman shot brilliantly partly because she had less pressure based on the form of her partner. In Kim De Jeok's shoot, he took the lead & pressure but completely outshot the others & created a space for his partner to shoot well. Their competitors (both France & USA) seem to be confused as to who is lead shooter & who is shooting on their best form.
@@Aelredpatrick no I think they meant that it's odd the announcer said "female" and "guy" instead of girl and guy or woman and man, etc. It struck me as weird and kind of annoying too so I went to the comments to see if anyone else though it was weird and I guess they did.
@@VoiceofReason-pg6qf Then the competition would be of lesser caliber, who wants to see a bunch of high school kids play football if you can see Messi vs Ronaldo? Should we block Messi and Ronaldo from competing in FIFA or any major events so the high school kids have a chance at winning?
At the 3:31 mark: What a truly odd thing for the announcer to say. It's archery (and freestyle at that) what the hell difference would gender make? The implication is that when they 'allow' the woman to shoot is somehow having an effect on the competition; like the women aren't equal competitors or something. Is this footage from a match that took place in the 50'?. Whatta knob. Then at 3:54...Wow. "...where the women (laughing) outshoot the men." Ugh, welcome to the fantastic year 2020 ya troglodyte. How embarrassing for World Archery.
i dont see whats offensive? it actually is interesting to see how teams strategize in mixed team rounds, since its a relatively new event, and no real norms have been set in place yet. and its true that men shoot better, js compare the scores of the top male shooters to the top female shooters. has a lot to do with males drawing more weight
@@jobagoat wrong. top female archers have had much better consistent high scores then top male archers. Also its widely known in the industry that korean female archers are the best in the world. dont just assume with your male dominant mind and actually do some research. archery in fact is much less about power and more about control and accuracy. Actually datas have shown that not just archery but "shooting" in general women have outperformed men.
?? why do you think the right side has an advantage? they are both standing same distances directly in line with the target. i dont see whats the penalty standing on the left. plus the koreans standing on the left side in most of the matches this competition won all 16 medals lol
Valeria Souto nope, if the spotters can see that the arrow is on the line, then it is called a 10. if they cant clearly see whether the arrow is on the line or not that is when they mark it down and put an asterisk.
Valeria Souto if an arrow is on the line, it is marked up, the asterisk is only used when the spotters cant determine what the value is, which would require a call from the judge. if the arrow is on the line then it is a 10
Wow, and I thought Americans were obnoxious! Those French girls have some of the ugliest voices I've ever heard. The shouting was probably most distracting for their team. Clément Jacquey is very handsome, perhaps that's what set them off. Anyhow, Congratulations to both teams!

Yes, french teenagers (especially middle schoolers) tends to be quite obnoxious, and since their voice didn't change at this age, they sound even more annoying.
Strasznie irytujący doping, rozumiem, że chcą wspierać swoich zawodników ale w tym sporcie liczy się koncentracja, a takie wydzieranie się tego nie ułatwia.

if they did they would be cheering for korea too lol plus kpop chearing methods are more divided and sharper not a full song XD. very similar to the koreans cheering in this video since kpop cheers come from koreans so its to be expected lol

bon au vu des commentaires apparrement les supporters ne servent à rien et font juste chier les tireurs OK je vous prends au mot militions pour l'INTERDICTION aux supporters de venir observer la défaite de leur sportifs!
I forgot about that. That actually makes sense though, I had Korean friend with very delicate skin. He turned very red when sun burned, but I never saw him wearing sun screen or noticeable lotion.
