I was kinda waiting for "weh" You know how both Korea and Philippines have this word but like in Philippines its "weh?" like when you heard something unbelievable. "May multo dyan" "Weh?" Its also functions like "진짜?" But in Korea there also 'wae' "왜" which means 'why'. "너는 잘 못하겠어" "왜?" (Sorry for my Korean 😅) They also sound kinda the same when you use it 😆
@ragingkangkong4884

"Awit": 1st syllable "Aw" comes frm the word "Ouch" means a painful expression from any english speaker then combined with the next syllable "Kit" which derived frm the filipino word "sakit" means pain, omitting the first syll "sa" to use the last syll "kit". Actually this is a "konyo" word where they are confortable to combine english and filipino words. Btw "sakit" (pain) is also the same in Malaysia and Indonesia. Share ko lan po 😊

Add the word “peg” to your list of slang words. Peg means taking an inspiration from an ideal person or thing. (e.g. “Ito ang peg ko.”) in korean context this is similar to “이게 내 스타일이야” (This is my style) Take note though, peg is often used in gay lingo so only lgbt & females mostly use it, straight guys would prefer saying “Ito ang trip ko.”
@unknowing5818
@unknowing5818 3 года назад
it sounds like a woman's body part so I guess that's why most straight guys would avoid saying it most of them can't control making fun of things that sounds green they'd probably say peg consecutively hahaha

"Sana Ol", is a slang version of "Sana" ("I wish" in Filipino) and "Ol" (Filipinized version of "All" in English. I literally means "I wish all," something like everyone needs to be entitled equally.

Most filipino are fan of Koreans because of KPop and KDrama.. I am one of those Filipinos who are not into Koreans because of Kpop culture. But I am in to Korean food, and the only korean I am a fan of was Maanchi. And now you are the second Korean that I like. You are sharing Korea to us in a raw and authentic perspective by submerging yourself in to our culture and then share korean culture to us through your contents in a very relatable way. I have high respect to you maam Jessica. I wish you good health.

Yeah it's necessary to use "Po", I speak bisaya and bisaya don't use "Po" to be formal, so I don't use po until someone said I must use it because I sound so rude when talking to them (in tagalog). Well it's a lesson learn for me tho😅

GRABE, MGA LODI! At some point inverted spelling was a trend .. LIke SINO BA SILA? (Who are they anyway/ Who do they think they are) was once inverted in a popular rock song by Sampaguita that goes NOSI BA LASI! Btw you should listen to this song TAO by Sampaguita; it very simple, poetic, deep and beautiful song. Actually Sampaguita is Indonesian who made it big in the Philippines

Fun fact: The tagalog slang word "Shota" was the classic word for "Jowa". So "jowa" is the latest version. Ang bilis ng pickup ni Sylvia sa "Lodi"!😁. They replaced the word "all" from the slang "sana all" with the word "oil" to make it more "kwela"(funnier).

와아아 그라베잘낯서 정말 !!! 사나 올 진짜 제시카씨 부럽다 부러워요 필리핀 슬랭울 나 보다 도 많이 알랐내요 kilig???? Actually between 70's and 80'sthere was a slang that came out,actually it was in a movie that goes "shiver to the bones" thats where" kilig to the bones" phrase came out and i thik in korea too they used tgat slang before i use to here it in the clubs specially the 아가씨s👩 in the club if you know what i mean and i guess it even came out in one of the best korean comedy soap thst time the 사랑이 뭐길래 i just forgot how it was really said but i remember there was so killig is basically the word shiver for instance you're boyfriend out of the blue he sang ang very beautiful song for you in the middle of a crowded place and you were touchly inlove that you shivered thats the actual feeling of kilig or shiver it is like you ate very fatty pig's meat and you shivered because of the oil "grabe!!" is also like a korean slang 와아아 노무하다 or 노무했다

The word "lodi" came from the old mannerism of Filipinos at 1980's to reverse words but more on syllables, for example "Inka"(kaen) , "Goli"(ligo) "Bigtu"(tubig) and the most famous one "Kosing Gawlu" (Singko lugaw) which means: "5 peso porridge" And the trend at that time is slowly coming back these days. love your video, you really are updated with the slangs haha

@rap3208
@rap3208 3 года назад
Actually, that reversing of the letters or syllabes came out and was strongest in the 70s. You'll notice that those inverted words are more prevalent with those in their middle ages because they've actually used them a lot in their childhood. An example would Manila mayor Isko who is very natural in using it. i'm pretty sure he can string up sentences just using reversed words.

In bisaya we call it ilab ilab from the term bali bali which means inverting in English. This trend is also applied on english words such as relax is called xaler and laysho from the word social/sosyal.
