Hi Bina, Thank you for setting up this video. I did not learn the korean 4 needle technique this way, and I appreciate it that you cleared up a lot of my confusion and frustration with this concept. Have a wonderful evening.😃
What is the difference between Element point (ex: metal of metal, waterof water, etc.) and Horary point? I have learned that only during the two hours that the energy remains on each meridian, its Element point (metal of metal, water of water, etc.) is called the Horary Point (ex: the metal to metal point is the Horary Point only between 3 and 5 am). After that time interval, it reverts back to a normal attribute acupuncture point. This is wrong? Thanks
Good question! All elements are inter-related. You could start treating one and then see what clears and keep adjusting as needed. Meaning, if the earth, heart and Wood element were diseased. You could see what is the source or which is most out of balance. Imbalance in one element tends to lead to imbalance in other elements. Say that the Wood element is most imbalanced. Treat that first and see how the others improve. It might be that if you find the root imbalance and fix it, that will cause the other imbalances to self-correct. If not, than treat what you see. If one is worse one week, treat that. If another is worse the next week treat that. Treat one element for 30 minutes and the next for 30 minutes in one treatment. Treat two elements using 8 needles total or three elements using 12 needles total in one treatment. That is also possible. Make sense?
Its the same concept. For LI, it’s a metal line. Find the metal point on the metal line. That’s the horary point. One to the right is the son. Two to the left is the grandmother. One to the left is the mother point.
Do this with all channels. San Juan (triple energizer) is a fire line. The rest you should know. If you don’t pair it with its Yin Organ channel. The Yang Organ channel will be the same element.
@@TCMReviewSeminars But when the question asks "For Lung deficiency which point should you use for its external paired organ"? meaning Large Intestine point.
