Enjoyed the video - brought lots of memories when I was adopted back in 1970's from korea. I am now 59 years old God truly had a plan for me and adopted parents. I grew up in Holt orphanage in Il San South Korea.
This made me tear up. I was adopted from South Korea when I was 4 months old (this was 30 years ago) and my parents have the original footage of when I was brought through to them at the airport. Adoption is a truly beautiful thing❤️
I absolutely loved this video! The joy and the happiness bleeds through. I’m a Korean-American adoptee and came home to my parents when I was a baby. Growing up in a predominately Caucasian community and area, it took me a little to figure out who I was. I’m now 25 and had the chance to get to meet my birth mom and my maternal grandmother - I’ve never been so blessed. It’s changed who I am inside and out. But never, has it changed my perspective on my parents. While my dad and mom have dark hair, blue eyes and look so opposite of me, they have always been and always will be, my parents. My birth mom, she’ll always be who I got my hands from and the bravest person I got to know. Sam, is who Sam is because of you both. It’s incredible to know that someone, who had the courage to give him a better life, gave you a beautiful blessing. I can tell you, his birth family, whether it’s his birth mom and/or birth father, are so lucky that you’re giving Sam the love and life that he deserves. ❤️
