Y’all failed to understand two things: 1) they commented their honest thoughts and tried to NOT hurt your feelings -huge eye rolls- 2) y’all failed to notice the shift in thinking in Korea. Girls go on harmful diets to look like #1 because that was what is sought after. The fact that they like other shapes shows change
Because in Korea there are a lot of women like number2 than number 4. So in my opinion the boys live in Korea generally see girls or women which look like number 2 in there childhood mostly. We also like number4 but many men have relationship with women like number2 in real life. So...men in this video are more get used to women like number2. (I am korean male. This is my subjective opinion guys.)
They also said that 4 and 5 where overwhelming and I get it, they feel like girls like those wouldn't even look at them, like, is more realistic to choose 1 or 2
@@rozemjoyce1616They never said she wasn't beautiful as far as I remember.They just found the amount of muscles she has overwhelming because it's very uncommon in general, ever more in Korea. It's not their fault they were raised in a different culture though. They are just being honest with their thoughts even though it might not be right for everybody this is what they were taught growing up and what they have come to think now. And if you noticed one of the men also said that he was amazed and would want to date such a woman. You need to calm down and consider other factors as well. That's the opinion many people seem to have about muscular women, and I'm not saying it's correct in any way, but it is incredibly common so I don't think calling them wussies is anywhere near appropriate.
I don’t mean to sound rude. I wish they would show less.... “professional” photography. I am positive these images are edited. I would love to see a range of women with different bodies shapes and sizes. Even if slim, a lot of the time things are not picture perfect or smooth. Seeing some light imperfections would be perfect. I would also like to see some slight chubbiness included here, and healthy higher weights. Having some fat is healthy, especially for reproductive women. It’s nice to see natural beauty as it is without the enhancements to it.
Honestly I think that’s asking for too much because of how Asian culture is and these peoples honest opinions would get them chewed out alive by sensitive viewers. Definitely this kind of video can be revisited in a few years though

guys remember that subtitles/translations are not accurate and that there are sometimes no appropriate english words/phrases to accurately translate korean! for example, the guy 0:27 does NOT actually mean "pathetic" when he uses that word. the closest I can translate is, "i feel bad" but not in a way he looks down on her or pities her
As a korean, I could confirm that he meant he feels pitty for her, maybe not as dramatic as pathetic but I really think he shouldn't have said that at all.

Obviously Hispanics and Black women are naturally more curvaceous that Asian woman, but most would be really lying to themselves if they think they look like those famous women.

I'm curvy but watching this video made feel ashamed for hating my body... I mean among my friends I'm the only one to have curves and not being thin. I always feel like I have 15 kg in more when I'm with my friends. Moreover being curvy is such a hassle when I have to go shopping. Every shop only sell skinny jeans ( I can't even put a foot in those things) and wearing a dress or a skirt is so stressful because I always have to chose a good one that doesn't reveal too much a curve otherwise everyone will look weirdly at me or say something to me ...
why are some people so mad 💀 if they arent attracted to a body type then they just arent, its not even like theyre being rude theyre just giving their honest opinion. the whole show is about which body they find attractive. In Asia its true that generally skinnier girls are perceived as more attractive but western media also has unhealthy beauty standards where the hourglass, slim-thicc figure is favoured meanwhile people find skinny people unhealthy

In most cases a lot black people grow into a body like that, if Korea was a little less conservative they would probably realize how common body #1-#5 in African/ African American culture. guess what god gave us that body shape and we gone rock it
Don’t think you can say it’s due to their way of life. If you live in a country where it’s primarily or race or similar races - you wouldn’t be exposed. The only time they would know is if they had interest and went looking on their own ex) travel to America or an AA country. Going to Barbados was the same. I was asked if I was Asian multiple times out of curiosity in 2015
@@Esqm I know this and I'm not saying it due to their way of life, it's just that in cases like this why is it that the body types that are colored skin overly extra or under the standard body. You see what I mean. It's just those particular bodies, a lot of bodies range in all them. Sorry if that last sentence didn't make sense.
Como latina creo que los cuerpos atléticos o curvilineos característicos son muy bonitos, pero también tiene su lado negativo a medida que envejeces. Honestly I don’t understand why everytime there’s a muscular girl everybody’s like “I don’t want to get in a fight with her, I may lose bla-bla-bla” as if muscle in a woman always equals agressive looking and manly. I mean they have expressed their opinions and for some I respect it but sometimes it’s just too much to witness how muscular women get strip of their femininity by men and other women too sometimes. Also I just think that their opinions would have been different if the girls shown were Korean. Like their opinions seem extremely inconstant with the Korean beauty standards where’s their literally a permanent apology of the unnatural thinness.

Number 5 body is seen a lot in Africa and America as well as Brazil ,and some of the Caribbean Islands 🌴 , Also Hispanics , if there are African Blood 🩸 Lines it’s found quite often, my family is full of these women . 🤷🏽♀️ My youngest daughter has this body type, She’s African American and Hispanic as well as having Native American and Caucasian genes , She’s always been beautiful, but when Puberty hit . It’s been a total headache ever since , but we’ve raised her very well,and she can’t help but know her self worth . Thank you God .🙏🏽

@@ecaIos isnt that worse? I'm also very thin naturally due to high metabolism and I do not want or need any pity because there's nothing to feel sorry about. It gives the impression that there's something wrong with thin people which leads to people feeling sorry with us when there is no issue with thin people at all. Body shaming is still body shaming be it of a bigger or smaller size.
When they got all shocked at the last girl, all I could think was “Y’all haven’t seen a lot of African women, have you ?” The fact that they also compared her to Kim Kardashian of all people was kind of sad. Of course I’m not trying to judge. I know full well that those opinions were the result of limited exposure to other cultures outside of Korea. I just find it difficult to see them compare that last model who seems to have a more natural look to her body to Kim Kardashian, someone who is known for getting work done. But what do I know. That was probably said because that is the closest person they could think of with that “body type” and didn’t mean for it to sound offensive.
In a rather homogenous country its hard to expect the average person to be exposed to these things in every day life. At most some random tidbits about Kim Kardashian will diffuse to the other side of the globe. Conversely I'm sure like, American fans of korean culture say cringy/ignorant stuff all the time while thinking of the biggest celebs.

It's not good to generalize an entire race because of a few Korean people on the internet. There are millions of Korean men who live in Korea and outside of Korea. They have their own thoughts, feelings, and opinions about these bodies, and like anyone else, many will agree or disagree. Just like men from your country, some men will like/love your body, and others will dislike/hate your body. It's all about PERSONAL preference, not the preferences of others.

I’ve seen lots of asian girls who live in America be built like the super curvy black girl. I just think that they should start loving their bodies for how they are meant to be and not follow all those harsh standards.
Don't worry you are beautiful no matter what your body looks like. It's okay of being skinny is your choice but don't try to change yourself for others such as friends or to be attractive. You are attractive the way you are.

I think girls that arnt that glamorous look better cuz when its too exaggerated it just a turn off for me but people can do whatever they want with their bodies its their choice if they like it or not :) but i honestly prefer cute girls over sexy ones
