insta : buseungha7 Hello I'm seungha from Korea. I made some typo , Rumian cave is not correct. it's Lumiang cave! Anyway I spent one of my best days in Sagada and I really enjoyed! Thank you~ #Korean #Sagada #Travel
Hello I’m your subscriber from London! I did the same route you did so many years ago and it was the best! You were amazing and your guide was very good 👍🏼 I super enjoyed your vlog, the action and the trill of it all!! For me it’s like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider! Thank you for this exciting video. This video beats National Geographic and I wish people could watch this. I do not skip ads. I watch everything 😃💪🏼The best!!
As a claustrophobic like me, I am left in awe of how you managed to explore the inside of that tiny cave 😚 I commend you for the bravery and being adventurous in exploring our treasures ❤️🇵🇭 👍
I did the cave connection in 2019. The guides used gas lamps then. I came out muddy and bruised but it was so fun! The guides we had were such fun and played tricks on us, the ones in front of the group. They made us go through hard path for contortionist skill level. Then we watch them guide the others in an easier path. The part where Seung ha swam, there's a side path where you can walk. Our guide made us walk through waist high cold water (It was the first day of my period😖) then the other guide was walking on the side and going "Hehehe!😏". If you go to Sagada this is a must do!
I remember we went there in the early 90s andSagada was a lot quieter and smaller community with lesser people and houses, they were mostly cottages and non of the big concrete buildings. When we told the inn keeper we wanted to go to the cave, she just sent for a guide and off we went after settling his fee. There is no registration or anything and we just walked from the town center to the caves which was also enjoyable by itself.
OH MY GOSH I FEEL LIKE I'M NOT GOING TO SURVIVE GOING INSIDE. FEEL SO SCARY AND I FEEL LIKE I CAN'T BREATH JUST BY WATCHING HOW YOU ENTER THE CAVES. YOU ARE AN ADVENTUROUS GUY. TAKE CARE ALWAYS.
was there with a group of 17 people back in 2009 and we had 4 guidws, and it took us 7 hrs. we were not prepared and had no food with us, but we made it to the other side 😅. good job on doing it by yourself. the guide was a good camera man too and so he was able to shoot you going through the cave... good job both of you. 💪👏
it's wide inside, you'll just go through small holes to go down and up. it's a great experience if you go with friends it will be much fun you'll forget you're inside the cave. I'm actually afraid of heights there were a lot of ups and downs there and especially frightening when it's dark but it was an amazing experience and fulfilling after you conquered that trail. We went out evening and after coming outside you could literally say you're free😂😂😂 it was tiring that we got knocked down and slept from evening till morning 😂😂
That was a total work out!!! My heart was racing while watching you. It's like an obstacle course training. So happy for you that you get to travel in these stunning places.
this is my first time watching a vlog inside the cave itself. thank you for bringing me there, it was fun and exciting. i went there years ago but only to sumaguing cave and i only lasted up to the curtain lol! you were really very fast. if it was me, it will take me 5 hours to finish the whole thing...
Thank you Seung-ha for putting subtitles and it helps us understand your situation. There are times we thought that it's deep, but thanks to your explanation, we are relieved that it's not. Haha
Now I want to go to Sagada. Seung ha i really love your vlogs. Exploring by yourself is so amazing. I've tried back in college doing a cave connection in Mt. Banahaw. My boardmates told me already to be in my shorts because the exit part of the cave we had to go through an underground spring. Thank you for showing even to us Filipinos how beautiful our country is
Seungha, I am very impressed with this. You were brave enough and fit enough to go through these 2 caves in just an hour and a half. I was quite nervous and at the same time excited as I watched this video. Rich not only knew the caves so well (I could imagine there are many possible spots in the dark cave where one could easily make the wrong turn and get lost) but also was so agile and flexible as he twisted himself to fit through the crevices and tights spots. The water looked so clean. Was it cold? Back in 1989 I visited Sagada and we went to Sumaguing cave. We only went to the pool area and did not proceed to Lumiang cave. This is one of my favorite videos of yours. Stay safe and enjoy the rest of your time here.
Seung Ha, I'm so happy you've tried that. I went there back in 2014 and the memories of the spelunking experience remain vivid in my mind, especially while watching this. Great job!
Seungha, if you're going on more expeditions like this, you may need to lend your guide or companion a second waterproof camera so that they can shoot your moves while you are shooting from your own perspective. Just a suggestion so you can get a wider variety of footage.
highly respect for this man for the first timer in such dangerous cave and a lot of courage even dont have protector helm and to the native people igorot respect good touring and very strategy when it comes deep cave.. likes training special army force.... keep safe more explore..
Seungha! That was a great adventure..You always have this unique travel vlogs. My clausthrophobia will not let me do that. Always careful and looking forward to your next adventure.
The Lumiang-Sumaguing caves are also one of the best experiences I've had in my life! I really enjoyed the adventure and the water inside the caves. I also swam inside like you hahaha we went there in 2016.
I admire your very high level of determination. Imagine on a solo journey even in the remotest part of Mountain Province. Thanks for sharing. Don't leave Baguio. You might still have some places to explore for fun and awe!
Wow. Your cave adventure is one-of-a-kind, like no other! I admire your unique way of exploring the Philippines. Looking at your face is more than enough to say that you are enjoying your time here! 😀😀
Been waiting for this Seungha really glad you're back. I hope as always you're doing OK and having fun. How come it was cut off what happened. OK now I was able to see the full video. Looks like you had fun like Indiana Jones. It was a nice cave trip Seungha. As always always keep safe and hoping to see your next discovery. Rest well.
Ahh, i went there last 2017!! After that my whole body ached😂😂 all my muscles are screaming in pain, hahaha. My advise for those who wants to go here who is not physically active like me, prepare your body at least a few days before going, like taking a jog everyday, so your body can be ready to the extreme physical excursion you will do here😂😂😂
Sagada tourism should start giving safety gear for protection, specialy hard hats...and i think lamp is better than spotlight/flashlights so atleast the tourist could enjoy the scenery...
Wow such an adventure Seungha! Your Tagalog words are also improving hahaha. Maybe if you stay longer in the Philippines you will learn a lot of Tagalog words.
I was actually amazed and worried as you and your guide ventured into the cave wearing slippers and no protective gears or kits. Thank goodness no mishaps. I must admit it’s like watching a horror film 🎥 . If it was edited and added suspenseful music anyone watching can easily imagine creatures lurking in the dark. 🫣 I absolutely enjoyed your video and will check out your other videos as well. 👍
Seungha hyeong,I suggest you to wear rubbershoes when you are in adventure to avoid foot injury.Wearing slippers is not safe for you specially this moment.Salute to you man.Youre so brave😊👏👏👏👏👏
When I tried Sumaging cave, we are a big group of college students. I had the best photo of the cave taken when the whole cave was lit up. When we enter there are already groups on the bottom so you can actually see the whole cave. The whole caves lits up from the lights of the guides. I still get anxious whenever I remember this experience hahaha as a chubby and not athletic who tried this, it was a nightmare for me. My whole body sore after this.
Sagada is one of my favorite place especially caving. If your really adventurous person this is definitely, must a try. It's a relief feeling once you've finish the trail. ☺️
I've been waiting for your vlog! ur the most genuine tourist vlogger I've seen in like a whole time and I really like you no extra this and that just pure vlogging keep it up! hwaiting!!
The most thrilling adventure I tried as well! Next morning my friends and I had hard time waking up , whole body ache 😅Congratulations for having great adventure in Sagada ~ See you around my city Baguio ❣️
I'd venture to say this is, by far, your favorite. Love that smooth, beige-colored rock formation with a curtain wall in the background and clear water running throughout.
great content! i can feel the thrill. seems like a first hand experience from your point of view in this video. it's a little scary to go spelunking/caving during rainy season, the water level inside can go deep fast without warning if it rains hard outside
Been waiting for your vlog. Went there a few years ago. My very first technical spelunking. You really have to follow the guides if you don't want accidents. Guides are really good and very precise. Once you go in, you cannot back out. You just have to push thru until you reach the other end. Being of short stature can be challenging as some parts will require you to extend your limbs. Your whole body will ache the next day and you would have discovered a few new muscles you never knew you had.... but it's all worth it in the end... will give you a sense of accomplishment...
Oh my G amazing adventure holding my breath watching you be careful always praying🙏🙏 for your safety and enjoy your travel and this is the best adventure ever👍
SeungHa, there is a longer cave in Kasibu, Nueva VIscaya. It is even longer. It is called KAPISAAN CAVE. it will take you 6 hours to traverse it. bring a change of clothes because there is water inside. IT has high cathedral like ceilings inside. Way more beautiful than this cave, although this cave is also very physically challenging!
I also experienced that cave connection. It was scary and difficult. I had body ache. But it was worth it, it's so amazing inside the cave. I survived Sagada 😁
The guide is super calm but firm and precise on what you should do. Was there any short briefing before you went inside the cave? Been to caves and old mine site here in Germany and tha last was in 2019 in Croatia. Of course all are secured with lights and railings, helmets. This one is not comparable, already for a higher level👍
@@maxemeize1842 I will designate my 3 daughters and of them is I am sure will make it, she is very calm. This is a no go for my son, not a Rollercoaster type but can stay golfing the whole day...
Annyeong HaSEUNGHA! Hahaha this is so funny when you shake your hands tot the kid 28:42 But this adventure is the best and life threatening, so I will enjoy your vlog content and Thank you for featuring this Local Tourist Destinations... Hope you enjoy it and make it an unforgettable moments or memories in your life... "Experience the Best of FUNtastic Philippines!"
So far, the longest of your videos, but it is entertaining! Did the caving in 2004, and been back there 2 more times, so much have changed, but still I just can't get enough of the enchantment of Sagada, my happy place. Stay safe.😊👍
@@10_10sei it was exhilirating watching it, caving is so interesting coz' you don't know what's awaiting you on the other side of a hole. Rich is a knowledgable guide. Lucky Seung Ha, there were few tourists during his adventure.😊 Stay safe guys.
Thrilling video. It is hard to get a clear video from an action camera in dark environments. What is as impressive is how the shots are framed well and the guide's perspective and your perspective interchanging throughout. It can rival a well directed national geographic video. It is immersive and exciting. Great job filming.
Yes, I totally agree with the the guide. You're really very fast in that caving adventure. I remember when i did hiking in Batad, the guide told me it was a 15mins hike but it took me almost 1hour to reach the destination😅. You are amazingly brave, hehe... I don't think I can do that.
It gives me chill..i remember everything nung time na pumunta din ako jan sobrang the best experience of my life di ko makakalimutan..so happy to see you also na nag eenjoy sa ganda ng Pilipinas.more travels and Godbless to your you tube channel.
I went to Sagada twice already but never dared to do the Cave connection. I would have a panic attack with that super dark and tiny spaces your body squeezed in there.
When I went there in 2019, we only tried the Sumaguing Cave. We should've done the Lumiang/Sumaguing Connection, it looks more fun but a bit difficult.
I have also been here, it was the most exciting things I've done so far. we entered in the afternoon we went out 6 in the evening 😂😂 then afterwards dinner then bed, we sleep so soundly that we only wake up the next day morning 😂😂 it was an amazing experience inside the cave never imagined would go through small holes and fit myself climbing up and down... I wonder how did I managed to finished the trek when I'm afraid in darkness then imagining things what creature might be lurking under that water we walked through 😂😂😂 cause it's all dark and wet.. well still best experience 🤗 glad you tried these things most of bloggers just go to beaches and towns not really enjoying every simple thing they supposed to try. try climbing mountains too and eating local delicacy ☺️ safe travels.
while watching your vlog feels like im just beside you doing that spelunking hehe..I had experienced that once somewhere in Quezon province, when we went to Infanta..when its low tide, you can enter the cave by crawling..I couldnt forget that I bump my head 3x, as if I was not allowed bcoz I kept laughing, I composed myself and prayed just to get in the cave and I cried when I saw whats inside...
I remember this went in when the sun is up and exited very late at night. Me and my friends were so unprepared I was only wearing slippers, sleeping shorts and a white shirt! Lol We were also taking extra time bec we were taking pics to every niche and crag lol good old days...
Since you’re going to Tuguegarao, you might want to consider, Quirino province - a little underrated by beautiful province. I would also want to suggest, Sta Ana, Cagayan and Luna, Apayao :)
I have done this like 4 or 5 years ago.. morning going down to Bomod-ok then half day from Lumiang to Sumaguing cave the hard/long way..Scary... thrilling but satisfying! My friend did the Crystal Cave the following day. We were told inside the Crystal Cave is more beautiful but trickier.
Been to sumaguing and lumiang cave and this is the best and scariest experience so far but very worth it. Need lang mag ingat pero the guides were very helpful. And 4 hours kami sa loob ng cave grabe hahaha
That is amazing. I find wearing a sleeper is dangerous, but you have a good tour guide thats why everything goes well. I love this vlog. Stay safe & blessed from ireland.
This not an adventure for a faint of heart. If you are claustrophobic, never never do this. And whoever explored this cave system to really draw a map or simply traverse the inner part of this mountain has a nerve of steal. Salute to the explorers before, to the guide and Filipino Boo! Good job and so brave of you to do this adventure! Now you can say, this adventure sepates boy and adult!👌✌️ 🙏
