+Yoonah Bae Wassup my bestest eye smile friend! Miss you and can't wait to give you the biggest hug ever when we next reunite. Cheers to the new year! :D
-ignoring that this is an old video- Anyway, we have two asian markets in Knoxville, TN but my favorite is the smaller market that sells primarily Korean food and product. There is also a Korean bbq restaurant across the street. That's as "koreatown" as we get, however Knoxville does have a pretty large Korean population, and we have an Asian festival every year in August. ^^
Love that you are covering where we can get authentic Korean Food in the states. Is the the Super Kyopo Market 3521 Homestead Rd in Santa Clara? They seem to have everything I would love to try.
Finding real fermented kimchi or sauerkraut is tough. Even when it has been fermented, it's been pasteurized so there's no beneficial bacteria. And if it's shipped, if the shipment gets too hot, that bacteria is killed.
I was renting a movie, again, 3 idiots, oasis, I thought of you, Ramona champion, Just wanted to take time to say I think you are awesome, Cool, and super friendly. I love you. Bay Love, Korea Love, All around the world, love - Jack Daniels
+jack villanueva Hello Jack Daniels! Thank you for your sweet comment. Love your name. Makes me thirsty for whiskey for some reason :D Hope you enjoyed watching "3 Idiots." ALL IZZ WELL~
+sweetandtastyTV Wow, neat, I wasn't expecting a response. Too cool. Big Fan. You do a great job, watching your videos always makes my days a little brighter. Very talented. Lucky me.
My favorite beverage to buy from the market is the rice milk drink but I'm not sure what it's specifically called. One time I described it to a employee and they brought me to the makkeolli (rice wine) section lmfao.
I love these Kingdom Koreatown videos with you and Mommy Oh. Hope you are able to make more of these in the future. It’s always a fun adventure going to a Korean supermarket!
At the grocery store in my town, they sell the sac sac grape juice in the little cans! I tried it and liked it! I didn't realize it had grape pulp in it until I started drinking it. 😊
I love shopping videos like these. of course, your restaurant videos are amazing but the grocery store ones are fun and i like being able to see the inside of Korean stores and what is all there
So she lives in Korea?? Or she lives somewhere they have koreatown cos she keeps talking about Super Bowl Sunday but like it's mostly Koreans at the market so I'm guessing she's in Korea??
+mikah ong Welcome back! KWOW is hibernating (it is originally focused on vocabulary as the letters stand for "Korean Word of the Week.") These days "Kingdom Koreatown" has been active. It explores Koreatowns around the world (wherever I am based at the moment, which is currently California).
Wow, that's what's up! We could have been neighbors or bumped into each other and didn't realize it haha small world. I went to De Anza, I used to drive around El Camino Real all the time! XD Sometimes I hella miss the bay area!!!
I'm so glad that Las Vegas has a large enough Korean and Asian community to have a huge market like that and lots of Korean restaurants :) But I still enjoy watching your videos even though I can do all that myself ;)
