I love how the girls always understand the meaning of the songs and become compassionate towards the artist(s)

...They guys are confronted with serious emotions and react by making jokes because it's not a language that society teach men to speak - only women. The women clearly understand how this is an expression of sadness, emotion and hope. So they cheer her on in empathy and joy.

it’s interesting to see the contrasts in the reactions between the men and women. clearly the women were immediately able to find relatability in the song lyrics while the men were unable to grasp anything let alone be emotionally intelligent.

I recalled that one reaction with Meghan Trainor where the men only had reactions about her weight while the women were enjoying every positive outcome from the artist. It really shows the contrast between the two gender.

The girls had a great reaction to her songs as they understood the lyrics and felt them, the only unfortunate comment was about her weight and it reminds me of how these physicalities are still such a big topic in most Asian countries, just appreciate the music please 💖🫶🏽

Maybe I'm biased from other videos but the 2 guys reactions seem so condescending. Comments like "Adele can't get over it" just rub me the wrong way, it seems like they're looking down on her for expressing her feelings. It reminds me of how people shit on Taylor Swift for making songs about her ex boyfriends. Like, is it so wrong for a female artist to want to make songs about her love life? Are love songs somehow inferior to other songs? Their dissapointing reactions are even more obvious when compared to the girls reactions who show genuine interest.

The two gentlemen are very pragmatic and analytical in their way of viewing things. It’s an interesting difference even though they seem a bit harsh at times. Much less emotional than the ladies who, in contrast, are more focused on the healing effect of the songs.

I relate to both sides reactions, the girls side is how I feel when I listen to her music and just think on how amazing of a storyteller and musician she is while the guys side is how I feel when I listen to too many sad songs back to back, like I can appreciate the talent but it gets too sad and I need to lighten it up for myself.

Every song of Adele's is a hit. some people are just blessed with that ability.

It's sad that Adele got so much hate for losing weight. She was always an icon for her talent, but she was also well loved because she wasn't skinny and therefore inspired others who were not skinny. But now that she's focusing on her personal health and slimming down, the "body positivity" community sees her as betraying their ideology of "I am not ashamed of being overweight". It's sad that you can be called out for wanting to be healthy. People will go out of their way to find something to be mad about.

I have to be honest, the men's reactions to her and her music - the flippant comments about how she can't get over it, and lots of people get divorced, you don't have to be that upset about it, etc - really ruined this video for me. It'd be different if it were some actual critique, but it feels like they're just mocking her work and the beauty in what she's writing and singing about. You don't have to like it, of course, but you don't have to disrespect it either.

I read the comments before starting the video and i literally do not know what anyone us talking about. The boys reactions were just fine and they understood the messages delivered. Evidenced by them saying these are sad songs about breakups and the like. So i dont know what others were watching. All this talk about emotional intelligence is also funny because it requires emotional intelligence to realise that just because something is funny or upbeat doesnt mean people will laugh and smile. And just because something is sad doesnt mean a person will be sombre or teary eyed. Men express emotions how they express them. The female way is not better in anyway, it is just different. Maybe a lot if you never had boyfriends or brothers or fathers or just havnt been around a lot of men in general. People are not obligated to react in a way that makes you comfortable, if you want that go to your girlfriends. You could probably sit down and have a very deep emotional conversation with either of them and they will smile and laugh through it. Ive had men do this with their simple day to day worries all the way up to speaking on abuse they gave gone through. It doesnt mean there is something wrong with them its how they process emotions. Lets not judge men as defective women but instead judge them just as men.
