Psy was the one who got me into kpop back in 2012 with Gangnam Style and I guess you could say he was my very first bias. If it wasn't for Psy I wouldn't have found BTS a couple of years later and I'm so grateful I did and Psy was the one who helped me fmdown the kpop rabbit hole and since then my life changed for the better as after he introduced me to the kpop world I got to know many older and newer groups and soloists and um just thankful to him for doing this to me. Psy is not only a icon but a legend to me un the kpop industry and without him introducing me to kpop I do t no what I'd be doing now

The girls singing is really helpful to making sure I sing PSY’s songs right! Can be hard to hear the words to pronounce correctly when he’s singing over music as someone who doesn’t speak Korean, but the girls jumping in over the vid help cement good pronunciation for me cause I could hear them clearer! 👍🏻😊

I remember “daddy” by psy being in an American dad episode once lol😭😭

Fun Fact: 'That That' was actually writter and produced by Yoongi (Suga of BTS) and Psy himself said it on an interview that Yoongi says to him that when he was writing the melody of the song he was thinking of PSY that's why he choose to do the collab with psy and ask Psy himself to work together with the song and deal it Yoongi needs to dance with him in the song lol

i really like the songs that suga produced, he never fails, the collaboration is suitable and good for breaking the stage, i hope he concerts abroad with again ' that that ' 💜💜

Gentleman will always be my favorite of his. So many great parodies came from it and the dance is the perfect example of "less is more" when it comes to memorable choreo 😂 I see a lot of kpop groups these days with complex choreo, but barely any of it sticks out as iconic.

I saw PSY live in Gangnam in 2016 and omg that man has such a strong stage presence! I hope to see him live again someday. On the other note, I hope you could do a reaction video of Eurovision 2022 final songs :D

I’ll consider my life incomplete if I don’t learn all of these dances. So catchy! But I can’t believe it’s been nearly 10 years since Gangnam Style came out, it was definitely huge over here - all my coworkers knew the dance. As I worked at a country club with a huge dance floor? It paid off, even people who didn’t know the moves couldn’t resist dancing or at least bobbing their heads. Great memories! 🤗

gangam style was the first kpop song ive ever heard i used to listen to it non stop, i think i even had a video of my dad recording me dancing the choreo, then i also found gentlemen which i aslo listened to a lot. But after some time i stopped listening to it and i found bts in like 2016/2017 which got me back into kpop and im definitely staying now as i am stanning a couple groups and looking for more

I grew up with like 1 song of Turbo's being played on the radio occasionally then nothing till Super Junior Girls Generation Kara 2ne1 and 2pm but i wasnt big into kpop. Psy hit the US like a storm with Gangnam Style and i grew an appreciation for foreign music. so Psy was a gateway for me to later get into Twice who still werent very big in the US. Fast Forward 10 years later and Kpop has taken over the world. In my opinion largely due to Psy's popularity. I wont discount those that came before him or after but i think it might have taken longer for kpop to become a global thing if not for Psy.
