Are they K-pop Idols? Today, our Korean pannels met beautyful South East Asian Women! Hope you enjoy the video! 🌏Hanseul / h._wise 🌏TaeYoung / tzero_gram 🇹🇭 Temmie @1.59gk 🇻🇳 Ziniy @_ziniy_ 🇮🇩 Elita @alohaelita
I feel like since Lisa is too famous and everyone knows her, people have forgotten that there are more Thai idols in K-Pop. I might not remember them all, but 2PM's Nichkhun, CLC's Sorn, (G)I-DLE's Minnie and Former GOT7's BamBam, and many more.
no, its not because Lisa too famous but not all people event korean pople are KPOP er . but Lisa is diferent think its like Icon. example, if we talk about Ronaldo, Messi or Beckham we all know no matter you like or not football because they are Iconic same like lisa
@@jetfighter8332She isnt.. shes Thai 😂 Stop claiming ppl as something else. Thats only the case for some south thais (the small region in south thailand that was originally part of cambodia) but shes not from there.
I think Korean people already know and know a lot about Indonesia, because there are already many Korean and Indonesian descendants and many Koreans live in Indonesia,Maybe Koreans don't understand about Indonesia, it's about ethnicity in Indonesia because in Indonesia there are many ethnicities and cultures, some are similar to Korean, some are similar to Japanese, have very white skin,There are those who have dark, brown, and reddish-white skin and some are of Portuguese, Dutch, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Indian, descent and others.
They don’t know what is PHO 😭 Most of the Koreans look down on South East Asian people and usually don’t date them. This is so annoying when they say « oh, you look like a Korean » 🤦🏻♀️ South East Asia is really diverse, with gorgeous women. Those guys are sadly ignorant and never met any other Asian nationality. I wish that they could interact with tanned SEA girls and see their reaction 🙄 Korea became a trendy destination due to Kpop/drama. I have been very disappointed but the unfriendly/hostile atmosphere if you are not « white ». That’s a shame. There are many beautiful countries in SEA, with kind people.
Koreans know about Pho, actually Pho is highly popular in Korea!! I have been to many Pho restaurants in Seoul 😄 It's just that in Korea, they spell it phonetically as "Po" or "Peo" since they don't have the "f" sound in their alphabet They also use the term "Beteunam Ssalguksu" which translates to Vietnamese rice noodles
It's kind of embarrassing how they can't even tell the languages apart. It would be like me, as a Dutch person, not being able to tell the difference between French and Italian. 😂 SEA is extremely diverse in language and culture so I'd expect fellow Asians to know their neighbours a bit better. Then again countries like Korea, Japan and China often only pay attention to internal matters (perhaps with the exception of the US) so it's not even that surprising perhaps...
They choose the SEA countries that are easy to distinguish, like Thailand. You can tell straight away from her greeting and famous food! i hope to see them with other SEA countries that are less known so it's harder to guess.
@Solveigh Haven't been back for over a decade, we finally have plans in the next 2 yrs. Planned in advance so that my entire family could go all together. There's 10 of us. I want to eat the street food, I've seen so many tempting videos on YT.
I'm Lao too and thought this was hilarious. I think on a conscious level he'd really like to meet a Lao person, especially because meeting one would be considered uncommon for a Korean. He did mention he was most impressed with the Indonesian because he never thought he'd meet one. I would think the same applies for any nationality he's not met before.
One thing that East Asian should understand more about Southeast Asian is the diversity. Southeast Asia is more diverse than East Asia both in term of language or ethnicity. So, it is hard to generalize and they should not generalize Southeast Asian that all will have a dark skin etc. In the case of Thailand, people may have the steryotype of Thai people with dark skin from famous Thais like Tony Jaa, Buakaw or Lisa, but, actually, there are many types of Thai people. There maybe all of Asian types in Thailand. Moreover than the dark skin which is steryotype and the meaning of term "Siam" which has been exonym for Thailand for centuries and was the official name before 1939, there are also people with lighter skin in the North and Northeast, the hilltribes people such as the Hmong or the people with Chinese descent, even the dark skin has many shades, the Central region, the Southern region. There are also many people who are multiracial since Thailand has been important trading city for centuries, so there are many people from many countries come and have the mixed race descendants. You can see that there maybe people with different physical apperances in one person. Even some people have the physical appearance as a normal Asian, but if he/she traces back to their ancestors, he/she will find that they are multiracial.
@@nganvo840Only some ,thailand is ingeneral mixed with neighbours (viet. ,khmer, burmese, Chinese , indian, hmong etc) ,only the south thai part (the small part that was originally part of cambodia) are for some part not even actual thai but cambodian ,just thai as thai citizenship. Same as theres on opposite side of thailand (north thailand) many originally chinese and full hmong ppl. The rest (especially central thailand) is heavy asian mixed now (bangkok is also heavily chinese-thai mixed) ...but nowadays the mix applies to any volks in southeast asia. We are not as homogenic as japanese or koreans who still 90% only marry to theyre own ppl. Southeast asia is heavily asian mixed now ,so...
I don't like the make up artist coz she/he put the foundation shade too white on the girls. Only Vietnamese girl matches coz she has very fair skin complexion.
true i live in a area where it's not much asians in general but if there is a asian they're most likely to be vietnamese ; and yes they look very east asian to me , all were very pale especially which is why i grew up thinking east asians and southeast asians all look alike when that isnt the case
Thanks for your mention. In terms of race, Vietnamese are similar to people in the south of China. I learned that many Vietnamese get lighter skin when living in cool climates like Korea or Japan for some time (including myself)... In terms of culture, we are too near to China so getting influenced by Chinese culture is also understandable.
Is funny one guy says the girl from Vietnam looks scary. I felt the same way with one of the Korean guy. His face is shinny white with orange lipstick. Weird!
Korea is so hyped and so many people all over the world travel there and these guys meet Asians of other nationalities first time. Seems so ignorant 😳😳
This is want I want to say but I don't know how to use a proper term. But, it is understandable, Korean was the Hermit Kingdom or isolated nation during the Joseon Era. When they started to interact with the world they began with the West especially the US. They have just started to interact with other Asians in recent decades. And they might have acted something ignorantly and improperly like looking down on people with darker skin, but I think that the more interaction we have, the more understanding we have.

@@yulia-xj7xg Perhaps you encounter some people who are not good, even some Koreans who come to Vietnam look down on Vietnamese people because they do not use Korean to communicate. A shop that I know of has had this problem. It's paradoxical when you meet bad people and the other people meet good people
Kinda weird that the first thing to come to mind about Thailand is massage. I actually would have expected the food. Koreans love Thai food, but then again he is a dude.
What's wrong with that? You, yourself, are a Vietnamese saying the Vietnamese girl is beautiful. So what's the difference? lol What is the point you're trying to make here?
No, I prefer Thailand representative, her look is sweet and gentle. Vietnamese representative look so sharp and fierce, her look is not typical Vietnamese and I am Vietnamese by the way.
@@davidpark2509 Southeast Asia isn’t a monolith of people. It’s not a singular culture or genetic. For example, Vietnamese people are ethnically more East Asian because they migrated from Southern China southward and established Vietnam. The Southern half of Vietnam is only 500 years old. You need to check your ignorance.
@NonstopFFriday I'm fully aware of that. My gf is thai. And I have alot of exposure to many different ethnic SEA ppl. But thanks for the patronizing comment.
If you know, Vietnamese, Singaporean people have pale skin in South East Asia! Why do you have to leave this kind of comment about this kind of thing?????????????????/
I mean, it seemed reasonable to me. They all look pretty representative of their nationalities but Southeast Asian countries are very diverse so you can't please everyone.
Everyone in the world know vietnam, we are Sinophere that have the same cultures as the Chinese. And vietnamese are originated from Southern China. We’re technically East Asians but geographically Southeast Asian
what?? lol. Vietnam was originally an independent country with signature ethnic and is always that. According to scientific research, the genetic system of the Vietnamese has a relationship with the Thai one, but no relevance to the Chinese genome. Vietnam and China are neighbours and can have some similar cultural patterns, but we are always 2 different nations. Even Liangguang in China, which consists of Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Macau and Hongkong nowadays, historically originated from the ancient region of Vietnam, before being attacked by China in 207 BC. Google is free to search before releasing any hilarious and silly comments.
@@peacefultran2313You mean the genetic study that was done by Vinamec? That study has so many flaws… The original Vietnamese can still be found in Indonesia and Malaysia… They are darked skin like the Semang people and Senoi people who both speak the Austroasiatic language… You should check it out and don’t be gullible and believe in Pham Nhat Vuong with his funded study that didn’t even past a scientific peer-reviewed 😂
I travelled to Vietnam for biz often before COVID. Vietnamese look southeast Asian and are laid back like southeast Asian. I dun know why they claim they are East Asians. Double eyelids, bigger nose and thicker lips.
@@Queen-dl5ju nope. There is no such thing as east Asian and southeast Asian culture. The countries are all diverse. do Thailand and Indonesia share the same culture? Jeez, Vietnamese are super desperate to upgrade themselves from jungle Asians to fancy Asians. There are only developed countries and developing countries, north Asia and South east Asia ( geographic locations). Vietnamese can Paint their faces white, they are still not East Asians and still poor. Vietnam was never rich even before all the wars. .
Vietnamese girls look southeast Asians. Big fat faces, big noses and big lips. I can still spot a Viet gal even if she is fair skinned. Nope you do not look East Asian. Dun even look Chinese, definitely dun look look Korean or Japanese. If Viet gals are so pretty, your celebrities should be famous. As far as I know, Vietnam is the leading supplier of foreign brides. Not something you should be proud of.
Vietnam are the most closest South East Country to Korea if we talk about Apereance. i can say that Vietnam more close to Korea than Japan or China in apereance (skin, hair, eyes, face etc).
Although Vietnam is located at South East, Vietnam shares many similarities in culture with Korea, Japan and China due to history. Visit Vietnam and you will realize that Vietnam is much different from other South East countries like Thailand, Indonesia or Malaysia
@@quang5963 yes i know.. in social media era many Sea country more conected to each other. event there many Indonesian vietnamese couple because of Social media. and i think Taiwan also suposed to be in ASEAN organization too because of geography location but we already know China wont that happen right?

Look nothing like Chinese descen to me and even more her accent is northern which region is hardly find a Chinese descen. Go to south Vietnam and look how Chinese descens look here, they all look nothing different from the Kinh . I only mention the Kinh because its population account for nearly 86% of the population and their ancestors had migrated from South China, some of the rest 14% must be the indigenous ethnic groups who look hevily southeast asian, some have mixed with the Kinh so they look less southeast asian to compare with their people in the mainland country (the Khmer Krom in south Vietnam have mixed with Vietnamese for centuries and now some of them look fully Vietnamese to compare with the Khmer in Cambodia). Any way, I dont know why your last name is Nguyen but since you identified her from central tells that you know nothing about Vietnamese
Hi, I’ve seen your comments on several videos regarding EA and SEA, and while there’s nothing wrong with having preferences, I think it’s a different thing all together when one specifically almost “despises” a certain group of people. You can prefer the look of East Asians, without hating South East Asians. I’m Vietnamese myself, but luckily I was born and raised in a western country, where beauty ideals aren’t so limited. In fact, white peoples in this country will attempt to get tan (being tanned means you can afford vacations = status symbol). Isn’t it interesting how much status symbol in various countries can affect beauty ideals? What I’m trying to say is, there is beauty in everyone. And we are more than our physical appearance.
