I didn’t know this show existed but wow-

Breaking life long habits is REALLY hard. My family was used to eating large portions of food until I started breaking away from that and eating less and making more health-conscious decisions. I've managed to lose half my body weight, but I sometimes still struggle with wanting more. But it's not impossible to overcome!

Everyone should follow these lovely ladies examples. They are always so thoughtful and kind.

I love this channel so much, I love how compassionate you all are whenever you watch and react to things like this. Sensitive subjects are very easy to mock and make fun of but I think your empathy and understanding is refreshing and wonderful to see!

As someone whose parents were neglectful and only fed them chicken nuggets and chips, and then when they were a preteen had said parents literally force feed me vegetables so hard I almost choked, I relate to the second person. People don't understand how fortunate they are in having parents who actually care about them and their health, and that not all of us are the same. I definitely don't think those therapists help at all that much. They're there for a short amount of time, and given my experience in therapy she needs long term support to change her habits permanently. They're just there so the show doesn't look like it exists to straight up mock people.

I can’t believe an unseasoned Brussel sprout was the first thing he gave her, like....Brussel sprouts even took me a little while to get used to and only after i figured out how to cook them properly. The smell especially is very strong. That’s DEFINITELY not proper exposure therapy. That’s like...being thrown into the deep end lol

It's not very often, but people do sometimes order steak tar -tar, but there's always the information about the higher risk of food born illnesses on the menus for raw or under cooked eggs, or meat

I’m criticizing Daniel for eating things that aren’t properly cooked meanwhile I’m eating macaroni and cheese that I made that I most likely underboiled... let’s just say we both had the same reaction at 3:32

I watched a video on another girl named Wendy Marshall who also had a raw meat addiction since she was a young and her mother and grandmother introduced it to her in small portions as a child. Someone in the comments said that immunity to the bacteria is built over time and her appendix developed bacteria to fight off the bacteria from the raw meat making her able to digest it better than most people. Really interesting because some cultures do the same to help for survival but it is still risky

I saw an old film once where a guy ordered a " Cannibal Sandwich " at a diner. Would have been funny if he sent it back because it was not rare enough haha. Some restaurants used to specially prepared raw beef they called " Steak Tartare ".
