Korean makeup compliments their features more while American makeup enhances American features more. Everything depends on your face shape. You did a great job :)

I like the Korean make up style better because it's almost more natural and soft looking where as American make up is so much sharper. Both look so pretty on you!

I like both and I think you rock both. I tend to wear more Korean style for everyday and it takes me less time. American style takes me longer so I rarely do it.

American makeup is intended to make women look more like men; deeper eyes, fuller lashes, bigger darker lips. Even eyebrows were either plucked to extreme or made super bushy, something a drag queen can do. Androgyny is strongly promoted. In Korea, the differences between men and women are more subtle, and although women are still feminine its more normal for men to dress and act like women. K-pop is especially evident, where a lot of men wear makeup and earings and tons of other accessories. They all have slender bodies and really girlish features, while not all Korean men look like that. They just have to sing in soft, high pitch voices, and use feminine gestures, while American female singers are belting queens and always try to look cool and tough. Just things I've noticed about different trends around the world.

Wow, you're so cute. Yes, seeing different sides together might seem "scary" unless you're going for a Chic Female Two-Faced look for Halloween! Light side meets Dark Side! And you smile a LOT! The more natural Korean side matches the uplifting happy nature that you have. American Style can be sultry, pouty and FIERCE. Your eyes need to have a repressed scream of "You really think you can take me on?" With a small touch of a feminine smug or grin on occasion in the lips. Nonetheless, you wear both very well. I liked your video. =)

The American makeup was on point! However after seeing these 2 styles side by side I realize how its true the Korean makeup makes you look like 10 years younger than the American one. I am American so maybe I should try the Korean style just to see if it makes me look younger too.

I live in america, and I love how the american beauty style is... on other people, I jsut feel like it's to much to for me sinc ei dont overly care about my appearance but want to look good for myself. The korean style is so much more natural and simple, definitely preferred, I'm gonna have to learn how to achieve these looks

Me, too! I'm born in the States so I can't help what I like from both! I love the Dewy Natural Skin look and I change up the eyeshadow part accordingly for day wear or event. I prefer the more chiseled nose look. I tend to go American for Eyebrows and Eyeshadow for Events with Bright Lipstick, pops out way more. I tend to go Korean for all other Bases prior to the Eyes and Lips. Natural is the best Foundation

I've always liked the Natural Look better. Actually, it strangely off puts me a bit when defined as innocent though lol I've never heard American make up be called Hardcore before. I'm thinking about reconsidering how I feel about it now. I like the idea of intensity. The style is great for events and parties, or even looking serious or dignified (or if you can't keep a smile up for certain others). But I still use Korean Foundation and Base. I hate how American Matte make up cakes due to long wear. Matte face foundation makes me feel like an empty doll. Natural Face with Sexy Eyes.

The Brown Circle Lenses is to emphasize the natural Korean look. K-beauty with American emphases usually pick a Blue Eye Color. Both are designed to have its own dramatic effect involving the eye in its own style. The contrast that American colors have is seen by the comparison of the smoky look paired with the Blue Color.
