I love the fact that jin's mom and Hattie are in a good relationship despite having a huge cultural difference. We can tell that it isn't a fake relationship for the camera. It is genuine and we just hope to have that kind of relationship with our partner's parents too.

Bruh I'm not sure about this prank, that was kind of cruel. Considering that Hattie is also at a disadvantage with the language and seems to not get what is going on all the time. And considering that her family didn't put Jin in an equivalently uncomfortable situation but rather seemed to always try to put him at ease. Like don't get me wrong, I love you two, but I couldn't help but feel really bad for Hattie. My anxiety would have been off the charts.

I totally agree with you. I just feel bad with this prank. It was hard to watch. I didn't laugh at all. If only they would stop after few minutes, not after whole day of feeling this way.... few minutes during dinner was enough... especially when you consider Hattie as foreigner among Jin's family..like you said, she's not able to understand everything, and yet it's not her home, home. Living in other country itself is really difficult
