What do you think of this vision: Koreans building "Shenzen-style" special economic zones along their former DMZ border, turning both Korea's into a real economic power-house in the next decade. China continuing with the OBOR initiative, lifting further 100s of millions of people out of poverty all over Central and South Asia, even as far as Eastern Europe. This will create a 21st Century of amazing economic progress and wealth generation for the entire world.This could even finally lift the African continent to peace and prosperity. I just hope the military industrial complex will not mess this up, just for their short term gains.

The story of unification between East and West Germany will be repeated here in Korea some time in the near future. I always feel blood and cultural tie is stronger than ideology especially in the Far East. Next surprise is reunification between China and Taiwan. It is just a matter of when. Meanwhile they are getting along well Co-operatively; and their people are visiting their relatives on both sides of the strait freely. Throughout thousand years of history there has not an incident of a breaking away province from her motherland for long.

Let's hope Uncle Sam does not rush in and steal everything from the poor guy, ha ha
