Enh. It happens. Sometimes a definition that matches a foreign word is incredibly precise. I remember a while ago a friend translated some Chinese/Cantonese word as "glabrous," which is apparently a fancy word for "hairless." Confused the hell out of me. The natural translation of _umami_ is _savoury_. It is the flavour that represents mushroomy, brothy, slow-cooked meats, chewy breads, smoked cheese, and cured meat (like summer sausage and cured fish). It's unhelpful that the food enthusiasts have grabbed onto _umami_ in lieu of _savoury_, which is the technical translation of the term, even though _savoury_ is the one circulating in common language.
Could you perhaps talk about a traditional Korean Funeral? What does the little white ribbon represent? The guy's outfit's, how long do they mourn? I have always been interested in the Korean Funeral's. Thank you!

sweetandtasty One thing I'm scared about when I spend my year abroad in Korea for Uni is the food. :') I'm such a fussy eater and most of my food choices are simple. I also have a indescribable hate towards sweetcorn and cucumber... good luck me...
I'm a beginner but I think 너무 is an intensifier, too is just an english equivalent, like "very" "extremely". So this is what I understand of that phrase: 요리 잘 하다 - to cook well 요리 너무 잘 하다 - to cook very well
