This guy's inability to micro is what got him killed. He couldn't micro his early game harass. He could micro his first push. He literally left 16 Vikings to stand still in 3 storms + carrier/phoenix fire and he didn't target his marauders on the archons and other ground assets that needed to get wiped out. A-move doesn't get the job done there. This is RTS 101. You have to learn and actually use the counter system.

I'm no SC2 expert but I think when you fight a 90% air army and half of your units don't shoot up that's not a good thing.

Why I feel that if he just made a marine only army and Sim A move his opponent he would have a better chance. Especially the way he was microing Marauders against SkyToss.

If protoss is op, it's people not playing protoss that are brain damaged But they aren't.

Not sure if it made much of a difference, but during the fight final big fight at 16:17 in the game chilix used the feedback on the ghost although the ghost died before the feedback hit.

I even think that he could have won the main fight if he had just thrown a few EMPs in the beginning (denying the storm and halving the Protos' health points).

brainless logic for win that - if got maraders - i go 2 kill nexus by drops and steam move (toss have not ground army to block or stop that). Like zerg, who can beat sometimes by eatting all by lings. No dynamics = no win

people like artosis and idra really did hurt sc2 in the longterm i feel. while protoss had only the nicest players on earth like white-ra, terrans had the most whiniest kids who would cry if they get a "i win" button that they have to push it manually ... i often felt patches were made because of outcry and in the end we ended in a game where protoss won BY FAR the least of any tournaments, literally zero foreign protosses can compete in the top (sry harstem) and the kids are STILL crying about protoss imba because people like artosis continue to this day to ride the "p is imba" train for their benefit of streaming and the people watching dont get that its not real ... i just wished white-ra would have been as bm as idra ... sc2 would be in a better place they cried so loud that the coolest unit ever to be designed in sc2 the replicator got scrapped because of all the whining ... imagine how much fun it would be to play with that unit edit: even worse when diamonds and lower ride that train ... dude ur diamon that means ur shit i not played sc2 for 10 years come back and get into master how fing bad are you stop complaining

This replay damaged Harstem so hard that at some point I got the impression that he was confused who was who and who sent the imbalance complaint. At 15:13 for example mentioned Chilix instead of Amaris in a way like he sent the replay.

My real question was why the fuck he was microing maradeurs against skytoss in final fight instead of viking or ghosts lmfao.

Oh man, that last fight was so freaking funny. Amaris did a good job prioritising microing marauders out of the storms instead of vikings and not using ghosts whatsoever. Just terran things.

Imho, to be fair (and i hate to be fair to terrans who as this one stereotypcly downplay Protoss, but still ) , when you judged his position around 10:55, his economy was better then Protoss. He had slightly higher worker count and lets say same timed third base. From what i know, this is not a good place to be as Protoss, I judge my eco position equal in PvT if im a bit ahead in base count, and at least 6-8 workers ahead. The rest of the points i tottaly agree, but I was missing this.

Not even halfway through the video I can sense Harstem arriving at a conclusion. To everyone's surprise, the conclusion isn't that Protoss is imbalanced.
