I love the Beta Glucan moisturizer! I also use the serum that goes with it and it adds a great layer of moisture to my skin! You look beautiful Laura! I loved this video!!!
It's not Korean but it's Pacifica Vegan Ceramide face oil. I mix this oil with Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Repair Balm when my skin barrier has been compromised. This combination here is so wonderful and I highly recommend it. If you shave your face to remove all the peach fuzz look no further.
The pyunkang yul essence toner and iunik beta glucan moisturizer are my faves too and they are so affordable! I love the numbuzin essence no 3 too. I love the no 3 serum from numbuzin as well. I have combination skin and my cheeks can be really dry. All your recommendations are on point that I wanna buy everything you recommended here
My #1 holy grail product is the CosRX 96 Snail Mucin Essence. I cannot go without it. I have super dry skin. Like, severely dry and it really helps. As for the things Laura mentioned that I also love are the toner, the eye Cream and the moisturizer
Laura, I'm so grateful and glad I found your page. I have super sensitive and dry skin. I've just started getting into Korean skincare mainly for the ingredients and they're not as harsh. I feel like the last few years have aged my skin alot and all the products are definitely working. I use a lot of the same essences and beta-glucane moisturizers as you so I feel good knowing I picked some good ones. Thanks for your honest, caring advice and helping us we all age beautifully. ❤
Laura I just wanted to thank you for posting this video. After watching your video 2 weeks ago I ordered the pyunkang yul essence and ampoule. I totally fell in love with them. I am 54 years old with combination/dry sensitive skin. I have not had any burning or redness with these. I ended up getting the pyunkang yul nutrition cream and their cleaning oil. I just love how my skin feels and looks after 2 weeks. My face is hydrated and looks so healthy. I even love using the ampoule under my eyes before going to bed. I love watching your videos. I am so excited now to have a skin care routine that doesn't cause me any irritation and has totally changed my skin. Thank you so much 😁
You look especially beautiful today, Laura Rae. Please do a tutorial on your style today . The gray top and makeup choices are so flattering and your hair is perfection. I use a few products such as Sukoyaka Suhada eye cream and Essence, and just starting the Beta Glucan cream. That said, I don’t use toner and maybe I should. I learned so much more from this thorough explanation of each step. Thank you!
Thanks so much for all the information on different Korean skin care. I have been wanting to try it. On another note, I'm sure you and the other ladies in the community have discovered the e.l.f no smudge shadow sticks. I just did. It is creamy and goes on easily. I picked champagne crystal to brighten my eyes.
Wow, this was awesome, exactly the intro video I was looking for. I've heard so much about K beauty routines but had no clue re products or the order etc. Thank you for this! Your skin looks amazing so I'm definitely going to start adding in these products!
I have been using a Korean brand hair care and absolutely love it! It is the Amos brand and I use the scalp, nourish shampoo and conditioner and the scalp spray. I heard about it from zabrena. My scalp does not itch anymore and I think my hair is starting to get thicker!
Your hair looks REALLY good. We need a styling tutorial!!! I’ve been using Korean & Japanese Skin care products for several years. My skin use to be dry and dehydrated before using those 8 - 10 steps. My holy grails: Kiku-Masamune Sake High Moisture Toner (Japanese). This is loaded with amino acids, antioxidants, enzymes, NMF, and a tyrosinase inhibitor (blocks melanin production). Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner (Japan). This is loaded with amino acids, NMF, anti inflammatory, antioxidants, and balances the skin. Both of these are huge (16 oz) bottles and can be used on the body, too. Sukoyaka Suhada eye cream & toner (Japan). These are moisture bombs with ceremides. Pyunkang Yul ATO Cream Blue Label (Korean). Locks everything in plus repairs the skin barrier.
You don’t know how much I appreciate this video! Thank you so much. I have asked others for this type of video. So glad my RU-vid feed recommended your video. I’m a new fan. I have products coming from Yes style and Stylevana and now I know exactly how to apply them. You’re a gem.
*Love J & K Skin Care* . I'm 55, normal with oily T-zone skin. I've been using Japanese and Korean skin care products for around two months now and it has been game changing. Kelly Driscoll turned me onto hydrating toner and I love the COSRX Hydrium Watery Toner. I also use the COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin. Being excessively oily most of my life, my skin never did well with heavy occlusive moisturizers. The hydrating toners have made a huge difference especially with the "orange peel" skin around my mouth/chin. I use the Mitomo Perfect Galactomyces Firming Toner and BIOmax snail wrinkle care cream at night. I can't wait to see the results after a full year of use, I will not be without my J & K skin care products ever again.
I created a hybrid of Korean skin care and old favorites. In the morning, I prefer warm water and a wash cloth, for a start . Using the idea of "7 skins" I use two applications of the Cosrx full fit propolis toner and 5 applications of the Isntree green tea toner. Then I do a few more applications of Vit C, CoQ10 and some other items. Finish with a combo of a Pacifica face moisturizer and Isntree hyaluronic acid aqua gel moisturizer.
I’ve had the most insanely stressful week and I’m so glad I found this page. I needed a deep dive into self care and I’m very curious about k beauty but didn’t know if it’s good for mature skin. I’m 54. Thanks for this info!
Hi Laura, I cant tell you how much I appreciate all your reccomendations...u never seem to let me down. I don't post often but I needed to tell you how beautiful you look. U are definitely aging backwards girl. I sware u are getting younger looking as time goes by. Love ya. Dana fromPa
Laura, if you have not tried the Wet n Wild Sleeping Mask, try it!! $5 and it is one of the absolute best available!!!! I’m starting to have a hard time finding it but when I do, I totally stock up.
Your skin is really beautiful Laura! You are looking younger and younger honestly. Do you still use a retinol/retinaldehyde or retin a? Thanks for sharing what you are using, I want to try the snail eye cream. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, love you my friend! ❤
Hi Laura, I have started using the Made Cera Cream Double Essence toner by Soko Glam. Have you ever used this and what are your thoughts. I love this, it is so nice and refreshing on your face. Also, I received a sample of Clean it Zero Foam Cleanser by Banila Co, another Korean line. It’s foamy and feels so great on your face, so I ended up buying the full size. I really love the Korean skincare.
I use all korean products and then at night finish it with the la roche posay b5 barrier repair. this i s a winning combo for me. I wake up with glowing, soft skin.
Hi Laura you look stunning!! What a great routine !! Can I, please, ask can I use Grenactive in stead of your Three Ship serum ? Will it conflict with the rest? A million thanks!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for an amazing video..i use some of those products as well..need to try sunscreen..my ???? Is.. Your not putting sunscreen on your eye lids?
Hi from Montreal!!! A million thanks!💖!! Can I ask, please, I use Ordinary Argeline with Matrixyl on my 11 ....it has done wonders for me. When would you apply it in a routine like yours?? THANKS!!!!!
Thanks for sharing the Korean products! No mater what I use my skin feels dry! I have some Korean eye product I’m trying! I’m still searching for things! Do you use Tretinoin?
Started Korean skincare to see how my face responds. I do not cleanse on morning, just good water. I prefer Zinc sun scream over the chemical ones. Of course diet plays a part in healthy skin.
Thank you for this with new suggestions. Can one put eye cream on eyelids? In the past year I have developed chicken skin on my eye lids, very textured. It makes my eyes look much older than I am. I have used eye creams regularly for the drying around eye, but it’s the eyelids.
I also include my neck, décolletage my earlobes and knees 🤭 and I want to try the rice exfoliator cause I love rice and the AHA exfoliate feels a little too strong for me and it leaves my skin super dry and tight 😊
You have a lovely smile and a sweet way of talking. I enjoyed this video and the practical advice you offered. Thanks! Qn: do you need to pair the cleansing oil with micellar water?
Where are you going to add your new red light therapy mask in, morning or night routine and do you think using your products before the therapy or after? I’m 55 and my skin will do great for a few months then out of no where, totally wrecked and broke out, it’s so annoying! I’m going to wait and see how you like the therapy mask before I spring for one since they are an investment. Thanks for the breakdown on your routines, I purchased 2 products so far that you have recommended, but I haven’t used them yet.
Love this video. I enjoyed seeing how to use these products! You might not want the title to say “Korean” though, because some of these products are not Korean. Sukoyaka Suhada and DHC are Japanese companies.
Thanks for the routine! Just one question, if I do guasha in the morning, in which step should I do it? I don't want to add more oils or serums, so I do it with a cleanser (unfortunately, because I would rather splash water in the morning and not wash again!).
I have been using a Korean ten step morning and night for about 6 years now. I find the last year it isn't working as effectively so I'm thinking of trying some of the products you suggest. But I also added in retinol Every other night Just a month ago and I can't figure out when I should be putting it into my ten step? For the evening routine do you have any suggestions? Also how do you keep the products for your nighttime routine off your pillowcase? And off your hair when you're sleeping?
I saw where you said you use a retinol and it is after several products. I use Retin A - Tretinoin-and was always told to put it on first. If you were still using Retin A what products would you use at night?
I have the same question, I always used trentinoin first and I’m not sure where to fit it in my k skin care routine. Thank you for this awesome video 😊
WHAAA??!! How old is this woman? She sounds like she is in her 80s and look like a GORGEOUS 40 yr old!!! She must have been a model when she was young or had a lot of surgery
In Korea, essence, ampoule and serum is the same thing. The Monodist (Odile) explains it in one of her videos. Basically, if you apply an essence, an ampoule and a serum, you just basically applied 3 serums…She also debunks the 10 step routine..saying it’s a US thing…not really done in Korea.
Thank you for your comment. Yes, they are from Japan and I have mentioned that in prior videos. They are just so amazing I thought they belonged in my skincare routine.❤️
Yes, there are two that I have talked about in other videos. They are part of my routine so I wanted to make sure and to include them. The cleansing oil has been amazing for removing my makeup.❤️
If you're interested in Korean Skincare and recommendations. Go over to Kelly Driscoll's channel. She has alot of videos taking about Korean Skincare products.
I really love how you're teaching us about Korean skincare... and all of these products are beautiful.. but if I'm using actives, like Vit C in the morning & peptides & Tretinoin in the evening, how would this work for this routine??💟🩷🫶🩷💟 and if I'm using Tretinoin in the evening I have to wash my face in the morning.. ❤️🥰
