[Korean-style BBQ Pork with Veggies]
Ingredients(Servings: 2)
・200g thinly sliced pork belly
・1/2 an onion
・1/2 a carrot
・3~4 stalks spring onion
・Serve with lettuce, japanese shiso leaves, or soy sauce (optional)
●Marinade
・2 tablespoons each: soy sauce, sake, sesame oil
・1 tablespoon each: toasted white sesame seeds, sugar
・1 clove garlic
• 1 knob ginger, grated
【Cooking Instructions】
①Slice the onion. Peel the carrot and cut into julienne pieces. Cut spring onions in to about 5cm length pieces.
②In a medium-sized bowl, Blend pork belly with ingredients for the marinade. Once the marinade is distributed evenly, add the onions and carrots and blend until marinade coats everything
③Heat up a medium-sized pan. Add the pork belly and veggie mixture, making sure to separate the meat pieces. Once the meat has changed colour and the vegetables have softened taste to see if it can use more soy sauce. Add more if needed. Add spring onions at the very end and stir until just blended. Serve with leafy greens.
