Para sa ibang tao, those curse words are no longer bad words but just expressions nalang. Depende sa mood ng mga tao na 'with respect and without respect'.😁😁 lol

Those curse words can also be used as an expression and a joke when talking to your friends and people whom you're comfortable with in an informal conversations. It all depends on the mood, you're facial expression and the way you're saying it. But it can never be spoken in a formal conversation specially to older people and those people that you have never met before. The most offensive words would be "ulol", "tarantado", " gago",(fool) "putangina"(son of a whore) specially when being said in an aggressive(shouting) and angry manner. Another fun vlog, advance happy birthday!

"Lintik" is actually really interesting! It's culturally important for most Philippine cultures because most of them share the same notion that lightning is to be feared (and is malevolent).

Correct lintik means lightning. Lintik is short for the term "tinamaan ka ng lintik" as used by older generation of Filipinos which also meant literally as stroked by lightning.

Leche : Spanish for milk but can be used to refer a small child. " Mal Leche " (bad milk) Somehow evolved to a scolding of a small (menacing) child. or bad child 'Tol, ' Utol is short of "Kaputol" from the phrase "kaputol na sanga" (branches of same tree) which refers to brotherhood or siblings.

This was sooo much fun to watch. I love how Ate Sylvia and Moy make it so comedic. I laughed hard thinking how I always do this with my close friends especially the stronger expression ones to tease each other. Sometimes it would come to a point where they'd act offended and we'd end up wrestling and chasing each other but it would always end with us laughing our guts out or even tickling one another 😂😂😂 like It's really with your close friends you'd feel so wild and free 💓 Oh and nowadays instead of "Gago", we'd use "Gagi" instead like it's the same but more subtle since if we say 'Gago' with older strict people around- yah we'd get the judging stares or be scolded.
@SylviaKim

Some additional points - the first three words can be considered as variations of 짜증나 - ulol or gago can also be used as 정말로 in different contexts like when your friend says something that is too good to be true, you can say ULOOOOOOOL?! or LOOOOOOOOOLLL or LUUUUUUUL (all shortened versions) or like GAGO?! TALAGA?! but you can only use them in really casual settings like with close friends - actually if you say these words to your close friends no one will take offense. just dont say them to any people who you're not close with

You can also say "anak ng" which literally means "son of" then join it with anything depending on how heavy you want the curse to be. Example: anak ng pating (shark), anak ng tinapay (bread) or anak ng p*ta (bitch). Note that "anak" is a general term, which means it can be daughter or son but since you use it to curse then it it would mean "son". Remember to use this only with friends and not to adults 😀

iT DEPENDS TO WHOM YOU ARE SAYING IT, IF JUST WITH YOUR FRIENDS IT IS NOT INTENSE BUT IT ALSO DEPEND IN THE INTONATION OF YOUR VOICE AND AND YOUR MOOD THEN YOU SAY IT TO THE PERSON YOU ARE NOT CLOSE WITH, THAT WOULD MAKE IT INTENSE...

Fun fact: when you say those words without the filipino pronoun "KA" it's like your just saying it as an expression. But when you add the "KA" after those words, it has a strong indication that you're really mad + the intonation on how you say it. For me, i wont be offended if someone cursed at me without a "KA" after every cursed words, but when someone added it, i feel so offended haha or is it just me?

That's interesting, the "Gae-" word in korea. In tagalog, we also use something that sounds similar and means similar to expressing an extreme level of something, we use the word "kay" but in normal conversation scenarios it's shortcut to sound "ke" which sounds similar to "Gae-". Example: Kay ganda (So pretty) Kay puti( Very white) etc. BUT I only hear this word mostly when talking older people. Younger generations would use "ang" instead, and the tone defines the level of how extreme it is. Example, "Ang ganda" means it's pretty, but if the say it a way like "Ang gandaaa" it mean it's veeery pretty . Same energy, right? lolol I hope you read this and you find this fact interesting. I just recently found out about your channel, so is Moy's and Jessica's. It's fun to watch when you're all together :))
