That South Park episode is really disturbing but it highlights that, at least in America, female pedophile teachers aren't treated as harshly as they should be or as their male counter parts. Guys always joke "oh if I did x with my teacher would have been the man!" rather than seeing them as pedos. There are quite a lot of famous cases here about female teachers and a ton of people just focus on the looks or say "the age gap isn't THAT bad 🤮
!! It would be interesting to see them react to the real life story of Mary Kay and Vili. Thank goodness she finally died late last year (I feel kinda bad saying that for her children’s sake). I hope Vili can now live as happily as he can with his abuser gone.

Bruhhh me and then one time I talked about it at school and no one knew it so I showed it to the people that sound around me on the school laptops in the middle of class and I got in trouble😭they were being loud yelling talking bout some ew some of them gagged and my teacher made me show her what I was showing them I literally almost got suspended for that 💔😭
yesss, my little 5th grade self had episodes on my ipod nano. i watched it with my younger brother too! he was in kindergarten 💀 i also showed everyone on the bus & thought it was the funniest thing ever. i only recently showed my dad what we used to watch. he was horrified 🤣
Simpsons and south park are controversial yet curious peaking and mind opening cartoon. Theres a messed up real story about bullying on south park and the downhard depression, the simpsons did that too with as well the school education problem and more, we can all say this cartoons has amazingly lots of pros and cons
Speak for yourself. Depends on where/how you are raised. Had a friend show me Happy tree friends. Shocked the shit outta me. And South Park makes me cringe can't watch it. Now that I'm older I can deal with family guy, or boondocks, etc. But never South Park.
I think cutting out the part from the South Park episode where society treats it casually because she’s an attractive female teacher really ruins the point of the episode. It really changes the context entirely. Instead of looking like it’s laughing about the thing happening, the joke is how callous our society is about the double standards in sex crimes against minors in America. A lot of people don’t take it seriously if a woman does it unless she’s ugly.
I always love extra verbal and physical reactions of Mj. As offensive as those show are; Ren and Stimpy & Robot Chicken (violence, satyr, comedy) and Moral Orel (The series is a satire of the archetypes of Middle American suburban life, modern-day WASP culture, alcoholism, and religious fundamentalism with weighty emotional undertones that increase dramatically as the series progresses.)
I think when she says "black" she's referring to a genre rather than a race. It's not common terminology in the US but I think black comedy/political satire = dark humor in this case.

I would LOVE to see these 4 react to the cartoon "Heavy Metal" its an Adult cartoon from 1981 that has a massive cult following in the United States, at the time it came out it was seriously controversial because of its adult content there was a huge controversy about the making of cartoons that were aimed at adults because some were worried the children would see it.

"Black comedy" needs to be fixed to "dark humor". "Black comedy" can be taken in a negative/offensive way to people. Not me, of course. I could care less but there are people who will crackdown on it

It made me smile when they got all giddy about their favorite cartoons. I wish more people would appreciate cartoons like this, and not call them 'baby shows'
I admit I do not watch many adult cartoons. My favorite is Helluva Boss and I have a tolerance for Simpsons and Rick and Morty, but I do not go out of my way to watch them as they tend to lack character development, a continuous storyline and often (for me) likeable characters you should route for. Like the Happy Tree Friends gore did not bother me, but the depiction of someone with PTSD does.
I'm American and a lot of these scenes shocked me even though I've seen shows like Robot Chicken, Metalocalypse, Superjail!, and some others. I've been watching Adult Swim since I was at least 10. To be fair, I've either seen none of the episodes for the ones shown or none that are shocking like this.
