Koreans React To Foreign K-pop Idols 

Need to clarify that some of those foreigners mentioned are ethnically Korean, hence the name and the Korean facial features.

I think we've gotten used to it but it's actually insane what an achievement fatou has made by debuting as a kpop idol and it will probably go down in kpop history

Ningning used to have the "Asian American" makeup style that's very smoky and intense. She looks younger and fresher with the Kpop makeup. But I think she looks the best when she's performing in China. She's Chinese and the Chinese makeup style suits her soooooooo much.

Fatou really broke down racial boundaries in the K-pop industry. She deserves all the love and appreciation she's getting nowadays 🫶🏿

Felix felt very out of place in the early days for his freckles, since they went against the beauty standard of perfect skin, and he used to hide them a lot. I'm glad they are now being seen as one of his charm points even in Korea :)

Fatou is currently receiving hate because she said that BTS were good and true rappers in kpop, that rap is not just about speed and that there has to be a pen game and meaningful lyrics. Mostly Blackpink and Stray kids fans were upset but Fatou didn't mention any group other than BTS. Imagine how damaged the kpop fans are who were racist, misogynistic and disrespectful with THE ONLY black idol in kpop who knows about hip hop, r&b and this culture. I can understand when the girls say the idols have western features even though they have 100% fully Korean parents. I also find that foreigner idols with Korean ethnicity doesn't look like typical Korean, there is something really western about them, like visual, vibe

Fatou is not the first black kpop artist, in fact she's not the first in that group. When Black Swan was known as Rania, they had an black member named Alexandria Reid. Even before that, Yoon Mirae was a half black kpop singer and rap artist stretching back to 1998 or so. She's still in the game today with her husband Tiger JK.
