Melanie is one of my favourite artists and her music videos and songs all have a special meaning. Death portrays her old-self that didnt really suit her because she had to live up to other peoples standards but when she got reborn she lives her life the way she wanted. Dollhouse shows the story about most of peoples lives how they seem perfect when they're outside their homes but when theyre in their homes its the total opposite. Mad Hatter actually continues the story of her song Cry baby, the song is about Crybaby accepting her crazy self. She doesn't care that she is crazy, and implies that "all the best people are crazy". Mr. Potato Head talks about how women are being forced into these standards men are making for them against their will and ruining their body just to please a guy, then at the end it shows her accepting her beauty, or giving up on what men want from her.

4:12 i like his reasoning for that, cause many people like Melanie have been criticized for just being them or not being 'normal'. Such as perfect white teeth, make up or good looks, bigger breast and skinny bodies or constant body shamming. But a lot of this doesn't really revole around women, it can also happen to men and children. But a lot of criticism aims towards women and children. Teacher's Pet revoles around a male teacher taking advantage of his female student, gaslighting her snd manipulating her into thinking he's in love with her and no one could understand them, but it just him using her for her body. Or as something else, i could be wrong about that. Sippy Cup revoles around alcoholic mother, who went insane after find her husband with other woman, killing them both, following with giving her child alcohol to not remember what happened to the two. Void, I believe, talks about changing the way you want to be, not liking who you wants were, feeling stuck in the past and trying to escape Dollhouse, i believe talks about unstable househole, as it was show in the video. I mainly get the source from the videos and a bit of the lyrics, i could be wrong or missed something from these others songs. But please let me know, nicely, if i did.
