I never thought of "spilling the tea" as only accidental. It can be on purpose (ex. "Alright, I'm about to spill some serious tea, y'all" - share some good gossip/secret) or used as a request (ex. "Spill the tea, sis!" - give us the scoop/tell us the secret!). Then, taking "tea" to mean "secret/gossip" you can then describe it (ex. "The tea is piping hot!" - the gossip is really good. Or "That tea is COLD, girl" - that gossip is old news). Hope that helps!

Thicc doesn't actually mean fat. In Asian beauty standard would only see it as fat. Thicc is when a person is fit but has a thick body type. Hani of EXID when she at her health weight is Thicc. Yerin of Gfriend is also Thicc. These type of people will gain muscle instead of getting thinner exercising. They are are more towards the endomorph body type.

Thirsty can also mean desperate for attention giving the circumstance Like for example I'll give some more slang examples to help especially for those interested I'll try to break it down the best way I can To understandthe context more Ill start out with what capping means "Capping" - Meaning lying for the simple fact to boost your ego or "clout"(reputation/street credibility or street cred for short you may come across someone telling someone you're clout chasing meaning that person is desperately doing activities only in the means to increase their clout) So someone might say I just "Did a bid up north" (was incarcerated) but I just got out "n" I got "hella bread" (n is a short and lazy way to say and, and hella is short for hell of meaning you have alot of something and "bread" is another slang for money) still left in the bank so ya boy "finna turn up" at the club ( finna is an abbreviated way of saying "I am fitting to" or getting ready to do something. Turning up is another way of saying it is time to party up and have some fun) "🗣AYEE Let's Get It‼" (If someone uses the 🗣emoji then they're making a big announcement and saying let's get it simply is just Let's get this thing started because I am hyped up and ready and saying "Aye" is a form of showing excitement towards something) So lets rewrite it again I just did a bid up north but I just got out n I got hella bread left in the bank so ya boy finna turn up "🗣Aye Lets Get It‼" Now you see your friend posts this online and you know for a fact that this is not their lifestyle and that all of this is a 100% lie and that the sole purpose of this was to gain attention or "clout" you can call them out by saying they are "Thirsty" because they are "Capping" for attention to look cool Online its an easy way to do this. You could just reply with "🧢🧢🧢" Which is 3 pictures of baseball caps or caps for short or to put it in a more slanged out sentence you might say "Bruh why are you so "Thirsty for attention man? You stay capping" But lets say someone does something for "clout" but they werent lying about it like you post online a great gaming moment that rarely happens and you say "Man stop lying that wasn't you." They could respond with "I'm telling you that was me I actually did that! No 🧢" No 🧢 or no cap means I'm not lying But some people use this to sneak in a lie still Alot of people use it to start off a sentence along the lines of an unpopular opinion to get something off their chest or mind like No 🧢 Pineapple pizza lowkey aight Translation - "I'm not going to lie to you but pineapple pizza is surprisingly alright to me on the down low" (Lowkey - on the down low, an unpopular opinion that contrasts with the popular vote on something Aight- short for alright or okay can also be written as ard) There's my lil (lil short for little but in Baltimore we say "lor") Slang teaching today for those of you who bothered to read the whole thing lol

I don't know American slang but there is a lot of fun Canadian slang. Dart = Cigarette, Gong Show = a situation that is crazy/chaotic, Hang a Larry or Roger = turn left or right (usually used in driving), Keener = Brown noser/know-it-all, Mickey = 13 ounce bottle of liquor, Two-Four = 24 beers, Double-Double = coffee with two cream and two sugar, Canadian Tuxedo = wearing denim on top and on bottom (jeans and jean jacket), Beauty/Beaut = something done well or something/someone great i.e "that car sure is a beauty/beaut", Jokes = instead of laughing you respond to something funny with Jokes, Skookum = something impressive i.e. "a skookum good deal", Vancouver special = a type of house with no basement where the first floor is rented out, Sloshed = drunk. That was a lot but you get the point. I'd heard of all the ones mentioned in the video but never *$, that's neat.

Theres another way of using Gucci. It can also be used when saying our relationship is ok. Like after a fight, they'd say "are we ok," and I'd say "we're gucci." It's weird when you have to explain it, but it makes sense when using it in that way.

I must be getting old...I've never heard "Spill the tea", it was always "Spill the beans" as a kid. There's even a board game related to that, if I recall.

Where I am, stalker and creep have two different meanings. A stalker is a creep, but a creep is not necessarily a stalker.

The song "solo" by Jennie (from Blackpink) has a line in the rap "used to be your girl, now I'm used to being the GOAT"... meaning she she's moved on and moved up from the relationship and become the greatest of all time.
