Korg Er1 for Soundtracks & Sound Design! 

This is one of the most underrated pieces of kit ever made in my opinion. Got mine on reverb for $215. The fact that it also has 2 inputs to slice and process is another plus.

That first high ping...channelling Everything in its Right Place...and that's a win for me...

One of the most fascinating drum machines & top of my list along with exchanging my Roland TR8 for a TR8s.

Anything w/ an ER-1 in it gets a thumbs up from me. :-) The "synth" sounds (or should I say "sound effects"?) of the ER-1 are pretty amazing. Would like to see it being used as a full blown drum machine more often though...

I was confusing this with the Korg EA-1. I didn't know it was capable of so much sound fx.

The Prodigy used this on the track Memphis Bells.
