The spped of the wavs/mp3s you load onto the memory card can indeed be speed adjusted just like a real record deck, very nice feature, it also has a jitter forward/reverse function to keep tracks in sync together.

We have not tested to see if this could work but the mic line in could potentially function as a jack to send signal into the Kaossilator 2. As long as there is a line in there is a way but not sure what the end result would be.

Does the pitch control on the kp2 mini actually change the spped of an mp3? or just the pitch.

Hi, I liked your review. My question is, when you record some loop from external device, can you apply arpeggiator on it or set the key or scale (I know that you can stretch/shrink the tempo)?

The Kaossilator 2 has a jack for a line out and a mic in. We haven't tried it ourselves but it looks like this could be possible. For the best prices on Korg gear, check out the UniqueSquared website.

Hi Scott (or whoever is managing the US YT account), does this unit have some kind of a "sweeping" white noise sound for buildups (similar to the RMX1000 if you've tested it)? This would go excellently with my Twitch as a secondary effects unit. Thanks in advance.

these are used as external fx units as well, the app can't do that (no input)

ok mine arrived today (kp2) what i do is make beats in ableton live and manipulate the hell outta them with the kp2, warning though, make your beats WAV files cause the kp2 wont auto bpm sync mp3's. Its a firmware issue that korg are working on. but tbh i prefer to work with wav's much better quality, if you have 2 kp2's you can link them together and dj wav music very cool indeed, a massive improvement over the previous version.

Well yes. I had previous version and sound quality of that was... toyish. Not really suitable for DJ FX. Maybe this version is better. I will need to check it. Regarding Kaossilator 1 it is really better and much, much cheaper top but app (if you have iphone).

@mikelo303 better sound, more easier to operate and easy to set up. This is why some people still use real synths than use a computer. For me, it's just too boring stitting on a chair and being stuck to a program

Who needs this? You can buy Kaoss App for iPhone for few Euro and have more functionality.

When you add continuous mp3 play to this toy? Did you ever see a dj which stop playing after 1 song? What kind of party I will do? Why I can't leave it unattended? It's just toy for home djs so why it's not have user friendly functions? ARTIST AND PROFESSIONALS BUY REAL KORGS NOT THIS TOYS (I bought KP2 to start play with music)Why it's not has USB 5V? Instead of that why there is 4,5V when 2 AA batteries are 2,4-3V? Why I can't connect it to USB or have Li-ion which will play much longer?
