Minilogue original is more instant and accessible. You can learn the synth faster and make sounds quick. The xd is deeper with more menu diving. They both sound sooooo good. I would probably recommend the xd as long as your willing to really dive in and learn the synth. If you don't want to spend a bunch of time learning it get the original.
