I own the BK5 and I find it great. However, I am seriously thinking about change... I really miss the touch screen (ex E50 user)... and this new korg looks really not bad!
KORG is a little bit better and sounds more natural but Roland is also good. Finally, it is a matter of taste and hearing comfort of the Player but also we have to try the touch of the keys of both keyboards to make the final decision, to see the weightage and touch response for each !
Excellent demo. So that's why the Pa300 became sheaper than the BK5. The sound of a Roland Keyboard, even a BK5, is usefull in a keyboardist set ! (and no L/R Output, neither MIDI port in the pa300)
Roland is the winner on all sections(soudns, arranger section) Sound is mutch, mutch better and crystal clean on the BK5 Only (touch) display is better on the Korg. However, the screen unfortunately does not play
I prefer Korg for piano sound... Roland has lot option for style n sequencer... I have Korg MicroArranger(MA) before... once upon a time in church... my brother play it along only with Rolland digital drum that was played by his mate with logicool active speaker which is it recommend only for PC speaker... He handle the rest instrument include bass played with left hand... I heard the sound and the way his play from outside that I guess came from full band also its sounds like the song from media player; clear and and pretty tide... Its bass sound is so natural... just like accoustic one... ...Looking for upgrade to ProArranger...
I was in doubt before seen this video.... The sounds on the korg seem tome more natural, very close to the original instruments... more meloical... I think depends all on how you gonna use the keyboard....I recomend the Roland for beginners... people whith a more acurate earing will choose the korg...
I had a Korg pa600 and had to return because of touchscreen issues........i like very much but the grand pianos are no to good aldo you san download a steinway sample to it........but yesterday i tested the Bk-5.........sound great........acustic pianos are way better and the rhodes sound great to
BK5 is good for Organs and EP sounds only .... and I have found The brass sections and Piano sections sounds of Korg Pa300 are better than BK5 ..And bender is also good advantage than Bk5
I have problem with my roland bk 5 layer, the layer tune is higher than main tune.. how to fix it? I try to reset to factory reset, but the problem is not fix
I bout a Roland Juno ds 61 and I had to return it . After lots of research i came to the conclusion that the output jacks are not compatible with most amps. korg has the best outputs for those who want to play live as far as I experienced.
The both are amateur keyboards! For the price what they are costs...It worth it! Roland made for 70+schlager musicans,Korg has more young vibes. For me Korg is the winner!
Korg put out their RX sound engine on pa300 while its shame for roland for putting decent sound on bk5 and putting supernatural only on high end roland keyboards, they both had similar price range
I owned Both Roland and Korg.... If I close my Eyes while listening to the Video, I can tell what Keyboard is actually Playing.... Good sound on both, but to me, Korg has a more Warmer, true sound.... Just saying... :-)
+David Samuel Azariya S dear friend dont compare the Krome whit any keyboard is junk...the korg m50 sounds way better....i had one..........the touch sucks and the pianos should be played stereo or they suck.....yamaha psr series are great and Roland bk too
Korg : better violin and bass section Piano and guitars : it's a matter of taste.. The rest of abilities are almost equal. Futhermore, Korg is much newer instrument than Roland, so Korg has much more time to compare and challenge Roland in some areas, while Roland was the pioneer in that price range.
its not real. they closed the highest of the pa300 ! or/ if you are add little bit more trable its gonna sound same or better. korg much better future's and edit etc!
+Teddy Keys (mrteddykeys) indeed. korg has more natural warm grounded sound. roland it's a litte bit to thin. I use kingkorg, krome and m1. roland and yamaha lose entry and midprize segment. expensive motif user are bruised with low-prize mx61 awm2 recycling.
